Cheney states the use of' 'Waterboarding' a form of torture is acceptable and Bush claims torture of any kind is never used.

Now who do you believe and what is the morality party stance on torture?

I believe neither of them. Torture is obviously being used--there have been many stories on the news--but after all we've been through with this administration, I don't believe anything they're saying. Ever.

They of course are torturing them since they wanted a bill that would allow some escapes out of Geneva , they actually don't want to admit that it's water boarding since it would probably not be accepted by Americans but after Cheney's statement of dunking in water most people have regarded that as water boarding and it's leaving a bad look and impression of them for the mid-term elections , truly they don't seem to have morals since they wouldn't even tell their country the truth , they seem to have no since of conviction .

Your question is like asking me if I want to die by the electric chair 0r lethal injection. I don't believe either of them on sanything and regarding torture perhaps Bush does not define waterboarding as a form of tortire.

Torture is okay, but they just can't say that.

It is sort of like a legal loophole.

Disgusting that our country has suspended habeas corpus, started renditions to secret prisons, warrantless wiretapping, torture..... and people still defend them. America, what is happening? Wake up and stand for what is right and moral and best for our country.

Even the conservatives are screaming that we better vote these yo-yo's out next week.

UHMMM...neither of them are telling the truth, the whole truth, or parts of the truth. An enemy is considered combative and treated as such until surrender or until they become helpful to the mission.

I am sure that the morality party believes that torture of any kind is wrong, but who knows.

I don't believe a damned thing that comes out of their mouths! The war in Iraq was started after they insisted that there were WMDs in Iraq and that they posed a threat to our security. And then, just a few weeks before the 2004 election, they FINALLY admitted that no WMDs had been found in Iraq. What a pity that so many thousands of people have died because of their lies!

As a Moderate Rep.....Neither!

I saw a piece on CNN last night, do you know how former detainees are treated when they get back home?
Almost the same way the ancient Greeks treated Olympic champions..... Free Ride For Life!!!

BTW, these are the guys who say publicly that they DON'T
hate America, even after being detained for months and years.

My question is what kind of rallying point are the guys who say they DO hate us????????

I feel Chaney believes he is Co-President, not Vice President. He seems to do a lot of things behind Bush's back. Bush would serve himself well by geting rid on him.

Those who advocate torture should be the first to try it.

neither. anyone knows if you want someone to believe something that is not correct all you need to do is tell half truths and that is the thing that this administration has down to a science.
