No, it only highlights that those doing so are showing their ignorance, and their PARTY partisanship, whether their party is right or wrong. A debate is about the issues, MUD-SLINGING is unsubstantiated remarks, from ALL sides.

I try to make clever, funny remarks that contain a good amount of truth in them. But it's fun to bait a little.

it seems to be the nature of politics. when all one sees is mud slinging political ads on TV and the misinformation machines on both sides working over time it just falls in line. Maybe someday we will learn how to listen instead of argue and really understand where one comes from and then maybe then solutions will present them selves.

Yes. It works for me. I know what you are saying. It is hard to find people who think through things and just don't spout what they have heard elsewhere. Intelligent political discourse is hard to find on this site. Thanks for the question. Most people don't want to debate, they just want to rant.

is with the facts,,, the war in Iraq is in a quagmire,, Bush has abandoned his "Stay the Course" but has no other course,,, Osama bin laden is free to train the terrorists to possibly attack the US again as on 9-11,, the Taliban have regained control in Afghanistan,, the US has only 20,000 troops there,, with 140,000 in Iraq,, US troops are in the middle of a civil war there,,, bogged down in political issues with al-Maliki and Bush,, all on hold until after mid-term elections,,, US soldiers are kept in limbo, (the borders of hell) until Bush decides another course,, timetables,, death squads,,, more troops,, less troops,,,
US soldiers need to be our greatest treasure,, not put on hold for elections,,,
