Doesnt it remind you of why you voted for George W.??? Does me...I would rather have a man in office who loves our country and supports our soldiers who are over there risking their lives everday, Kerry wants to criticize our soldiers despite the fact that some have died for his right to live in a free world. What a POS. He doesnt deserve his next breath much less for someone to let him run his mouth in public and address the American ppl...

all political emotion aside people...he's a politician...there is an election close by...he wants his party to win...rationally thinking do you think he would say and mean something like that at this point in time...I sincerely do believe it was an accident and one which was not sincerely intended...rationally again...polls showing the Reps are in danger of losing... thier policy for america being unpopular, thier leader being ridiculed and distanced from...it makes for a recipe to grab at anything so as to distract the voting population from the real and sincere issues. Politicians do it all the time... they make mountains out of ants mounds..but the saddest part however are the people who actually allow themselves to be suckered in. Stay focused people...this election is more than about soldiers being educated or not...cause be it that they are OR they are not both are loosing thier god given lives just the same! -Vote HIP for President!

OF COURSE NOT!!! People think badly. John Kerry ciriticised Bush which I'm thankful for!!!
What he meant was, Bush didn't THINK before he acted when he attacked Iraq which had NOTHING to do with terrorism, he plotted the whole America to beleive Iraq was the bad guy and move away from Afghanistan to Iraq.
Now we're doomed. We spend 8 billion dollars on the war per month, and yet we haven't won sh*t!!!! We're wearing ourselves out, lives are lost for oil!!! 650,000 people died in Iraq!! About 3,000 soldiers and the majority are innocent civilians!!
Now tell me this, since going to Iraq was a disastor, why did Bush make a mistake?
Because he didn't do his homework just as John Kerry stated.

I would believe he actually meant Bush if his record said that he supported troops but he has denounced soldiers in the past and continues to do so. He clearly has a low opinion of all soldiers and what he said the other day was his true opinion and not just a mistake.
He is a disgrace and he didn't even really apologize for what he said. He said that he is sorry if anyone misinterpreted what he said. No one misinterpreted what he said. He really did call troops stupid. He is a disgrace.

Again? Read what he said for yourself. Don't just take what Rush said as absolute gospel. He was slamming the Bush administration the entire time. It was a joke that fell flat on it's face and the Republicans just cut out one soundbite. People in the crowd actually laughed because they knew what he was talking about. Don't believe, go look for it yourself on line, oh wait you won't because Rush tells his listeners not to bother going anywhere else for the facts.

Instead of just listening to the snippet which contained the remark, go and listen to the whole thing in context. He wasn't insulting the troops, he was insulting bush. The only disgraces are the people who want to twist how he stupidly misspoke to their own advantage. The really sad part is instead of being fair, they will latch onto it and ride it to death. I am more angry with the Democratic leadership who left him in front of the bus and didn't have his back. Shame on all of them.

He is a disgrace to this nation. The way he bashed our brave soldiers is ridiculous. He is also misinformed. You have to be educated to get into the military. My husband (a former recruiter) used to turn down at least 4 people a week because they couldn't pass the test.
And to think, he wanted to be their commander in chief. Thankfully that will never happen now.

He was insulting idiot-boy, not the troops. You can spin it until your butt hole falls off, but the American people are not buying the drivel from the Bush regime's spin whores, Karl Rove & Karen Hughes, anymore.
