I don't think the party leader is ever truly liked by members of the other party these days. As House Minority leader, it is her job to be the spokeperson and watchdog for all of her parties big issues. As a result, she must take the hardline and not compromise for fear of appearing weak.
Bill Frist and Dennis Hastert are not terribly liked either. They are not hated though. The Democrats hatred is resererved for guys Newt Gingrich & Trent Lott. Those guys politically stand for the same things Hastert and Frist stand for today, but like Pelosi, they were quite abrasive about it.

She is weird. Puts down Bush and his policies and has no solution for anything.
Voted against the Patriot Act, hated the NSA wire tapping, and is against many other homeland security things. She has no clue how to protect us and if she became speaker of the house...where is that going to get us?
