We're not racist to Islam. Also, Islam is not a race. It's a religion.
We just hate the extremists who want to see you and me dead because we are Christian.

1) America already recognizes Islam. There are Moslem chaplains in the US armed forces.
2) How can anybody be racist to Islam. Islam isn't a race.

America doesn't "recognize" any religion. America "accepts" all religions.
America was founded on "Freedom of Religion" and anyone here is allowed to practice any religion.
America was founded on separation of religion and government (church and state). Therefore, no American has to "recognize" any religion.
America accepts anyone who is being persecuted based on religious reasons in their own countries.
When will some people recognize Americans and America for what it is?
When will some people stop generalizing Americans?

When they stop killing innocent people like on 9/11/01 and in Iraq, Afghanistan, London, England, Madrid, Spain, causing riots in France, Denmark and other places like in Indonesia and the rest of the world. BTW, Islam is NOT A RACE, but a "religion."

Islam is a religion with no one racial type so I do not see how the USA can be "racist" toward it.
When will Islam be tolerant of Chrisitans, Jews, Women, atheists? A Moslem can travel to just about any Christian country in the world and not be molested. There are few if any Moslem countries that a westerner or non moslem can travel to without fearing for his/her life.

I don't recognize islam...I really have no idea what it looks, smells or tastes like. Islam could ring my doorbell and I'd just be surprised it wasn't the Schwan's guy. Guessing there are lots of folks like me, then all of America never will recognize it or them, whatever it is. Some of America doubtlessly already does recognize it.

I keep saying this over again and again, to have some kind of understanding of the religion- (bearing in mind the number of comments re the mistreatment of Muslims) when was the last time you received an invitation to visit a mosque on open day, participate in a get-to-know-us better BBQ? The muslim kids going to school with mine aren't allowed to come over! The religion does itself no favours when it looks to western countries for empathy and understanding! How in hell do you get to understand a religion that keeps itself to itself! The leaders of this faith really need to show people they are no different to you or I................You fear most that which you do not know.

U.S. is in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. It looks like Islam has been recognized.

When Islam stops being anti Christian and Anti-Jew and stops killing people just because they have a different view of things. When islam learns tolerance and stops teaching their chidren to hate. When islam stops killing people around the world. Want me to go on or do you get the picture?
