Ah, a trick question. Kerry never called American soldiers stupid. Only someone deeply stupid would think he did.

He misspoke what he intended to say.

The funny thing about the situation is that when Bush has done similar things in the past he was called an idiot, not so for Kerry.

Let's just say that the average IQ level of the military went up 12 points when Kerry got out.

I agree i made this point earlier he even proudly admits it. i understand the people who only were part of Vietnam because they were drafted but john kerry mentions it with pride so yes he is call ing himself stupid and on top of that should be tried for treason.

The words have been misconstrued. He wasn't thinking I'm going to call servicemen idiots, which would include himself. The bottom line is he was trying to call W an idiot. Which I think we can agree is an apt statement.

Actually no, anyone that understands the context knows he was talking about Jr. and his ineptitude in Iraq. If he had studied harder, maybe he'd have an exit strategy instead of letting thousands of Americans die while he sucks his thumb.

Of course Kerry's words were twisted around by hate mongerers and people believe what they want to believe.

He proved his point before he made it, just as well W. misunderestimated him and signed up for field hockey instead.

Yes, he is a fool. He based his attack on incorrect facts and offended a LOT of people.
