John Kerry hasn't changed his position on the US military since he first opened his lying mouth at the Congressional Hearings in 1967.
He is regretting his latest diatribe only because of the back lash and its possible effects on his party - and that's the only reason he "apologized."
"Democratic Ideology For Dummies"
Joe Lieberman takes a fact finding trip to Iraq and comes back with a few positive comments about the war on terror.
Result - the Democrats throw him out.
John Kerry continues his bashing of United States soldiers.
Result - The Democrats hold him in high esteem and rally to his aid and start spinning "what he really meant to say" almost immediately.

According to the #2 Republican in the US House, Congressman John Boehner, the Iraq mess is all the fault of the US troops on the ground in Iraq. Boehner only moments ago had the following to say about who is to blame for Iraq:
GOP HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER JOHN BOEHNER: Let's not blame what's happening in Iraq on Rumsfeld.
WOLF BLITZER: But he's in charge of the military.
BOEHNER: But the fact is, the generals on the ground are in charge, and he works closely with them and the president.

Just another example of Republicans not listening to the truth.
While making a speech mocking Bush.: "You know, education -- if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well.
"If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
What he meant.See the difference?
Kerry was supposed to say, "I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

John Kerry should stand by what he said because it is true, and the attacks on his statements are dead wrong!

I do not care if Kerry joined up for the military just so "he could put it on his resume for politics"
The only thing I know is that he did join and he did have enough balls to fight for his country.
So you all can call him whatever you like joining the military shows definite courage and love for your country.
