why won't Bush help the elderly and allow stem-cell research to take place ? There are elderly with cancer and diseases and diabetes and why is Bush just letting them die and not helping them by allowing research to take place to help these sick people ? Why is Bush killing our elderly in the hospitals and killing our young people on the streets of Iraq and killing our poor uninsured citizens, I thought he said he was a compassionate conservative, why doesn't he show some compassion ???

i got to hear kerry speak and meet him at a fundraiser over the weekend, he is a good and nice man. his speech was great and he is very intelligent, unlike bush. he said he may run again but isnt sure. but he had this to say about conservatives "I will not let them get away with lies ever again." it was a great turnout with close to 300 people. after the event it really hit me how this country would be so much better with kerry as president instead of bush. it was a great experience and i would like the chance of hearing another kerry speech in person.

I openly express my disdain for Zionism and wish that this movement will come to a swift end, BUT...

What about the general population in Israel? they have, in most part been brainwashed since childhood to believe that ethnic cleansing of the non-Jewish population in the Mid East is an acceptable (if no laudable) practice.

The problem is, right or wrong, these people are human beings,too. So, if my wish were granted and Zionism beomes a thing of the past, what can be done to assure the safety of the Israeli population?

if Bush was not involved in the planning and financing of 9/11, then why would he have let his buddy Osama's relatives silently slip out of the country by plane shortly after 9/11 when all other aircraft was ordered to remain on the ground. If Bush had no involvement with 9/11, then why did he find it necessary to help the relatives of the supposed 9/11 mastermind ??

so many people have no concept of how government and the economy works. should they be allowed to vote?

for istance, there could be such an overwhelming majority of idoits voting for people that it could potentially cause the economy and governemnt to fall apart.

there are so many people now days that don't have even a basic concept of how the american government works, they don't understand the issues or the jobs of each elected official and the limits of thier power. if they kiss the baby, they get the vote!

you all think there should be some test people have to take in order to be eligible to vote? it would cover government, the branches and thier responsibilties, basic economics and other things.

i beleive that would be good to have so we can have a more informed and educated voting block instead of just some local joe idoit voting because his dad voted and great gran daddy voted democrat so he does also, or Mr Frist kissed my baby so i will automatically vote for him!

Why does America only interfere in other countries when they have an interest? we all know why america wants to interfere there - they are rich in oil. If ameica really want to help, have they heard of a poor African county called Zimbabwe who is governed by a harsh dictator. Of course Zimbabwe has nothing to offer which might interest America.
America is actually a very selfish nation. They only joined the first world War after the Lusitania was sunk. They joined the Second world war after Pearl harbour. It's time they stop pretending to care about the rest of the world and admit they they are selfish and self centred.
