Why does America only interfere in other countries when they have an interest? we all know why america wants to interfere there - they are rich in oil. If ameica really want to help, have they heard of a poor African county called Zimbabwe who is governed by a harsh dictator. Of course Zimbabwe has nothing to offer which might interest America.
America is actually a very selfish nation. They only joined the first world War after the Lusitania was sunk. They joined the Second world war after Pearl harbour. It's time they stop pretending to care about the rest of the world and admit they they are selfish and self centred.

You know..I think you have a really good question here. And you are so right about Zimbabwe. I have friends from there and they are having so many problems dealing with family back in Zim. And true, the US does not help. Have often wondered the same thing as you. However, don't put all of us Americans in the same category. Also, it is Ms. Rice's job to try to intervene (not interfere). She gets her orders from the White House. I do understand your anger.

If you hate American so much, why not leave? There are many countries out there that hate us as well. Go live there. I am pretty sure I know the reason you hate America. You are a hypocrite. Most people share the same priorities. My family comes first, then if we have any surplus, we donate and give to charities. The U.S.A. is the same. We are it's family, we come first no matter what. Selfish? No. Smart? Yes.

Well do you want the U.S. to be involved in world politics or don't you? Late or not, they helped the Allies in both world wars and I'm happy Europe (where I live) isn't run by the Nazis (Which we are constantly reminded of by the less intelligent americans, thank you very much.) They were instrumental in kicking Saddam out of Kuwait (where he had no business being). Now I think the second Gulf War could have been handled better, but I don't really think any country out there would be less selfish, were they as powerful.

I really think we Europeans must come together and realize the U.S. is policing the world because someone has to, and right now they're doing it more or less by themselves.

Yeah I seem to remember us in Africa trying to feed the starving in Somalia.....worked out pretty darn bad for us now didn't it? We give more money food and medicine to African countries than anywhere else. What more do you want from us? The African Union says they want to take care of countries in Africa. Should we take over the continent. A place with so many natural resources that in competent hands would be like heaven on earth, that is destroyed by Africans killing each other every day. they won't interfere in other African countries cause they will never get anything from those countries.if anything happens in countries like South Africa they will interfere cause they will think about all the diamond which are in some parts of that country.
