Don't forget the Ottoman Empire -- they welcomed al-Andalus' Jews when the Christian Reconquista and Inquisition forced them out. The irony is that, historically, the safest places for Jews were in Muslim countries and Germany.
Unfortunately, things changed that never should have.

We muslims don't hate anyone. Infact we're adviced to love the humanity for Allah's sake.
There were Jews in the Arabian world at the time of Prophet Mohammad. So yes there was indiginous Jewish population living in the Middle East since ages
Jews and Muslims and others have strived peacefully in many places.
Don't know about Jews in spain.

I totally agree with you. Even today, Jews & Muslims live together in Egypt and Israel and probably in many other parts of the world.
It's not really a question of Jews versus Muslims. Muslims and the Arab nations have nothing agianst the Jews. The problems is with the Zionist dream of the "promised land". This is what is creating all this bloodshed, fighting and hatred
Even today, some Israeli's along with the citizens of many other nations have protested against their country's aggression on Lebnon. Are these protestors anti-semetic? No, they are just tired of all the blooedshed and want to live in peace.
It's all about a political agenda hiding behind a religious propoganda and many innocent Muslims, Arabs, Jews and Israelis are the victims.

Muslims do not hate Jews, they hate the Zionist regime. Muslims and Jews lived together in peace until the Zionists came and tried to ethnically cleanse them out of existence in 1948. I had dinner last night with 4 of my Muslim friends and 3 of my Jewish friends. We all discussed the Israel/Palestinian conflict and we all agreed that Zionism is the problem, not Jews. It is just the ignorant people that choose not to learn or believe the facts.

Absolutely. Jews and Muslims have gotten along in the past. But this is different. Some Muslims think the Jews are trespassing on their property. Jews however have always claimed Israel as their homeland. Both sides are willing to die for it. It is possible for the groups to get along and hopefully they will someday.

Just the more radical groups of Islam.
BTW, the beginning of Islam came about as a way to unite the Arab nations to combat the unity of the Jews & Christians. There is no religious foundation behind Islam, it is a political one. Mohammed (sp?) is nothing more than a false prophet in which BILLIONS of people are following like lemmings.

Did you know that the Jewish people have been around for over 3000 years.
Did you know that scientific finds are proving that there was an Israel nation in the same area as today from 3000 years ago until approximately 70AD?

Even in Biblical times, there was an animosity between the Jews and all the other Middle Eastern tribes, who would become the Arabs, despite their being almost exactly the same.
