When a country responds to terrorist aggression, that is not considered a war crime.

Yes, we are, and it's hard to agree with, when they are attacking another country. But, if Mexico was letting some group of people throw rockets into the US, I guarantee you we would do something about it. You can call it war crimes, or you can call Lebanon stupid for letting terrorist groups fire rockets from inside it's borders. You have to agree that Israel has the right to defend themselves. I have been listening to legal experts, and they are saying it's not a war crime yet, so we will see how it ends up.

To really answer your last question, millions of Americans watch CNN an other TV outlets every day, making sure to keep up on this sort of information, it's very important to us how we treat other countries. You should also know, that just because President Bush decides to do something, doesn't mean the rest of the country agrees.

War crimes? Give me a break. Last time I checked, Hezbollah which has been operating under Lebanon's umbrella for years unchecked has been firing rockets into Israel killing innocent civilians and failing to put an end to the conflict. Palestinians waged the Second Intifada in September of 2000 which saw a hugh increase in the amount of suicide bombings against Israelis. To say that the Israelis are causing "war crimes" is completely false. They are defending themselves in a just way.

the government is too big, those who do things in the name of the US are not directly accountable. Long ago, the question would have been - of what concern is it to the US if a foreign country is fighting another foreign country? They are both foreign countries and neither is fighting with the US. Yet, the US is spending money on both sides, and endangering american lives for a fight between two foreign entities. something is wrong.

Most just don't care as long as they have their dunkin donuts and big cars. I have a hard time figuring out the 'we support Israel no matter what they do' attitude of Americans. However, just look at US history. We have repeatedly supported total dictators just because they were willing to do what we wanted. I think the US supports Israel because we want a 'friend' in the middle east and since so many people are essentially racist and don't care what happens to Arab people we let them do whatever they want.

The eyes of the UN, the USA, and the world are all over Israel, as well as their own judiciary. Any allegations of war crimes would be investigated.

We're more aware of them than you think. You have to remember, it's our men and women out there, stationed in these countries, trying to bring peace and losing their lives for it. Our government is trying to get everyone out that wants out. They've been working with those countries to evacuate anyone that wants out of there. We're far from ignoring it. In fact, I think we're in it more than we should be. Our government has enough murder and other violent crimes to deal with here, and our soldiers are dying to save civilians over there. I here so many foreigners that are in America complaining that we don't do enough to help them. But they forget that we allowed them to evacuate where they came from and they're now living here while our military is still over there fighting for them. Yes, we are one of the richest and most powerful nations, but we are still human and can't save everyone all the time. We are doing as much as we can do though. And I think the people who are benefiting from it, should be grateful for what we've done so far, instead of complaining about what we haven't done for them yet.

It's not a war crime to defend your country, family and life. The days of when palestine terroris can cross over the border and attack Israel and claim their right to do so as palestinas is over.
