Are Americans aware of their foreign policies at all?

Why is it that when Israel DEFENDS herself that it is a war crime?!?!?
This war started in 1948 and will not end anytime soon... the extremist Islamic fascists want all Americans and Israelis dead!

Most of the US citizens are very aware of our foreign policy. We know that we are nearly the only country dedicated to preventing bullies from picking on other countries. We ought to be aware of it if, for no other reason, the terrible cost we pay not only monetarily but in human lives.
While no one, least of all the USA condones every act that Israel does, living next to people who are intent on Israel's elimination is a bit troublesome. If you support the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers, then you are the ones supporting this present conflict.
Lastly, most of the area was a wasteland before the Jews came back to it in 1948. They are slowly turning it back into something beautiful. Lebanon was once a free and beautiful area. It should be a free state instead of a puppet of Syria and ruled by Hezbollah. As long as you insist on the extermination of Israel, there will be conflict, at least until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To the 2nd guy who anwsered israel started the hizballah war in 1978 when they invaded lebanon. They ignore israeli war crimes since the jews hold 25%of americas fortunes. They also want there votes. They clearly dont care about poeple.

This is not american foriegn policy. The Israelis were wronged and if they werent they feel like they were. Knowingly supporting a group that would engage in kidnappings and attacks against another country is wrong and it is punishable. If you do things like that expect there to be negative consequences and dont cry to the gods of yahoo for sanctuary.
