It surprises me that the US would go after Iraq when there are a lot of countries that are much bigger threats to US security, such as North Korea and Iran. Saddam Hussein was just minding his own business in Iraq in 2003 when Bush decided to invade for no real reason, and yet Kimberly Jong-Il and Mahmoud Mahmasemamasamamakusanadinejad are off building nuclear weapons and the US doesn't do a thing. Not only that, the US is still allies with Saudi Arabia despite the fact that they have one of the worst human rights records on the planet. The Qur'an clearly states that there can be no compulsion in religion (Qur'an 2:256), and yet the Saudis refuse to let anyone practice any religion other than either Sunni or Shia Islam. I just don't get why the US invades countries that don't need to be invaded, doesn't invade countries that do need to be invaded, and remains allies with countries that do not uphold human rights. Can anyone shed any light on this issue?

The interview he had with Matt Lauer made him seem even more gay than he did before, what with all those crappy (pardon the pun) excuses he made.
So funny to see someone who so publicly chastised Bill Clinton's indiscretions have this happen to them. What goes around, comes around, indeed. . . .

Tons more. What do you think?

I am 100% against invading a sovereign country that has not attacked us in any way (Iraq attempted to assassinate our President after we defended Kuwait against them, and Afghanistan really blew it).

But to see people post question asking what Iran has done wrong is beyond the pale.

Educate yourselves, folks. Read all sides.

I don't mean interested, I mean hooked.

So my question is this.

How did you start becoming involved with learning the laws and what kept you hooked into this type of field?

With Britian getting ready to halve the 5,000 soldiers they have in Iraq, Debra Cagan, deputy assistant secretary of defense for coalition affairs was sent to the capitals of our Iraq "coalition allies": Moldova, Macedona, Albania, Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan to beg their leaders to send more troops to Iraq.

Currently:
-Moldovia has 11 troops in Iraq
-Macedonia has 40 troops in Iraq
-Kazakhstan has 27 military engineers in Iraq
-Czech Republic has 100 troops in Iraq
-Albania has 120 troops in Iraq

The US makes up 94% of 'coalition' forces.

Arguably, all these countries have economic issues which preclude the deployment of any more troops or aid.

"President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad adores the Twelfth Imam, and has dedicated much of his public speeches to pleading for his return, and expounding on the importance of preparing for it. He invokes the Mahdi so frequently, is so suggestive of his own divine guidance, that the ordinary, devout Iranian could be easily made to think the two enjoy a special connection."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/12/15/AR2005121501428.html

"Last month Ahmadinejad said publicly that the main mission of the Islamic Revolution is to pave the way for the ... Twelfth Imam."

Are people blinded so much that they can do nothing else but scream about Bush "having a messiah complex and wanting to start WW3?" Sounds to me like they just hate the fact that he's a Christian and not ashamed of it. Or maybe they think he'll spit on their precious church/state myth.

God almighty. There's just no reasoning with them!

His gross was near a thousand but he ended up with six hundred.

Money that he could of used for basic needs, like food and rent.

What countries have these laws and how do you feel about them?

In the US, is it constitutional?
