They both scare me equally, but if the Taliban de-stabelize Pakistan I would be far more afraid of it. I wonder, would India pre-emptively nuke Pakistan, its rival over Kasmir, or I hope there is a prearranged agreement for Pakistan to hand its nuclear stockpile over to an international power in case of this event.

iran is more dangerous - today
pakistan has showed a surprising moderate streak. there are MANY extremists there, certainly. but so far, the moderates have had a very noticeable & positive effect on the country
pakistan is doing relatively well economically, and as such many people would lose greatly if the country becomes unstable - and thus presumably would work to prevent that

Pakistan is unstable but Iran as a nation seems bent on causing trouble and we are in trouble if they ever get nukes.
