No. The application of brute power is the weapon of a small mind.

As humans, gifted with free will and speech, there is no problem on earth that cannot be solved by the application of our intellects and cooperation with others.

And even in the breakdowns of international understanding, we must exhaust all possible avenues before ever again vaporizing others to effect short-term gains.

JUST THINK, in hindsight, that the USA detonated the bomb just off the coast, thus saving lives of the enemy. How much great publicity would that have been afforded to the USA.

Instead, we all know the fact that 2 bombs were dropped on 2 cities in Japan.
The USA is the only country to actually use wmd's in combat.

And another thought, if Saddam Husein had had WMD's, would he have not ordered them employed at US military force concentrations? If not, what the hell was he saving them for?/

I was watching "the War" on PBS the other night. The only regret I had was that we only had 2 A-bombs to drop. As it was we only needed 2.
