Well below the poverty level.They paid all their lives into this fund and when they need it the goverment keeps them below poverty. How can anyone truly expect the goverment to run healthcare when they have failed so miserabily at social security?

I just got a phony e-mail "exposing" all the flaws in the Canadian system and warning Americans not to vote for Hillary because she plans on instituting the same thing here. Why? What are the core values that you admire in those countries?

1. Is this ideal country a democracy? or is your choice a combination of democracy with a touch of socialism?
2. What are the laws based on? A constitution? Is it a kingdom?
3. What are the religious freedoms allowed? Can you worship the god of your choice? or are you frowned upon if you do not worship in the recommended churches.

All moderates I have meet have intelligent answers to the problems our nation faces, yet offer no action. The Republicans and Democrats are not so great and have a tendency to spew off the same old tired lines over and over again and just get angry when you ask them some hard questions.

What would it take to get fellow moderates together and into action?

I'm tired of having to guess how many stamps to put on if say Im sending a couple CDs with my letter...2 39 cent stamps? 3? So..just wondering if forever stamps solve this problem entirely. The bums at my post office were too dead beat to give me any info on it. :)

I keep hearing people say - The governments working on it don't worry , the governments on the job . For example - Education - The governments on the job working to fix it .
War - The governments on the job to prevent it .
Disease - The governments working on new cures .
Terrorism - The governments on the job working to stop it .

Well I might be synicial but I haven't seen not one bit of proof ANYWHERE that states the government is working on ANYTHING ! Sure there working on getting nonsense laws passed like condeming an ad in a magazine but the government working on real issues - Come on now .

Anyone agree ?

Do you think our founding fathers invisioned an America where 40% of our income is taken away by the government before we even spend anything. And probably closer to 50% is taken out before it's all said and done.

Wasn't the revolution over stuff like this? How much did those people pay in taxes compared with modern day?

the signals cause cancer. Yet our leaders and the leaders of the companies refuse to do anything about it. Is it not obvious that a current CEO is not going to do anything that will hurt their business currently and leave the matter for someone down the road when they are long gone and no longer responsible? As was the case with cigarettes.

NOW Ron Paul has placed the American Freedom Act 2007, HR 3835 Monday October 15, 2007. He wants to remove the current policies that have been voted in place.

I can not help but wonder why this is not so PUBLIC, Media Matter's FOXNews? Am I alone did you know? SO, like the Iraq war it became unpopular? But they voted twice. Surely they had time to get properly briefed on the bill they signed?

I read countless negative remarks by people who complain about urban sprawl. I see the so-called urban spawl as a indicator that the local economy is healthy and jobs are being created. It is my impressions that the anti-sprawl people are
