it is quite enlightening about Iraq War and WMD with
quotes from key Democrats

October 25, 2001
March 2, 2006
each vote approved the Patriot Act last date included Obama.
Hillary Harry Reid, John Edwards, Ted Kennedy ??

WHO knew?
NOW Ron Paul has placed the American Freedom Act 2007, HR 3835 Monday October 15, 2007. He wants to remove the current policies that have been voted in place.

I can not help but wonder why this is not so PUBLIC, Media Matter's FOXNews? Am I alone did you know? SO, like the Iraq war it became unpopular? But they voted twice. Surely they had time to get properly briefed on the bill they signed?

Is this like the vote to authorize war and OOPS
we did not mean it? Aside from one John McCain who stands firm on all these votes how/do? you trust that your interests will be met if elected? And what will change once in office?

Yes -- Democrats in Congress often bow to political pressure and do things that are directly against their stated agenda.

And Republicans tend to stick to their stated agenda -- which is much more of a problem for minorities than it is for people who happen to fall within whatever control majority they are serving.

Ron Paul has been no more consistent than any other politician -- and I've seen enough of his voting record to know that he doesn't support the freedoms that this country used to believe in.

The leaders of the Democratic Party are increasingly communist while the leaders of the Republican Party are increasingly fascist. Neither party seems to value freedom of the people.

Ron Paul is the only candidate running for President who really cares about our individual freedom and civil liberties. I know there's a guy who posted above who disagrees, so I want to ask him what, specifically, in Ron Paul's voting record leads you to believe that he is not consistent in his position of individual freedom? Any links to information that support your stance are greatly appreciated. I'm not trying to be a smart-a*s, I hope you realize that, I'm simply wanting to discuss this since we disagree. I don't expect to change your mind anymore than I believe you can change mine.

The Patriot Act is Nazi legislation and needs to be repealed, immediately! It's put the U.S. on a slippery slope that will result in either a police state or another revolution.

well.... the last time they approved the patriot act, it was quite different than the original one... it improved many of the issues that they had problems with...

and many did think that Iraq had WMD and trusted the President's intel... notice how they don't really trust him anymore?
