unicameralism is faster to find resolution....bicameralism alows provinces to be equilly represented in the union and still favors legislative rulings for states with greater population.

Unicameralism makes bills go through a legislature faster, but makes the legislature easier to dominate by a small elite group, or special interests. Bicameralism makes the process of passing a bill much longer, and can make for some conflicts between the the two houses If the members of both houses are chosen by different methods, however (like the US Congress, House members chosen by district, Senators by statewide vote),it can allow the people to be better represented in the legislature. It also helps the legislature to be more balanced.

Two chambers require more coordination -- but if the members are chosen differently, it gives a more likely outcome that the result will be representative.

One chamber is easier to manager -- but also easier to corrupt and easier to control by special interests.
