Have you heard of L.O.S.T.? It's Laws of the Sea Treaty, and it would give the U.N. control over all the seas!! This would mean we Americans would have to pay levies to the U.N., and our navy would not have the authority to stop any enemies from entering U.S. territory. We continue to be the bully of the world and there is no end in sight. The government keeps getting bigger and they recklessly invade other countries in selfish wars for oil and power. We are up to here with the pan-fascist actions of Washington which are turning our country into a police state and it seems like the ultimate goal is world domination. Before 9/11 there was no DHS or Patriot Act. What's it gonna take for them to take everyone's civil rights away in the name of freedom? Probably another attack..I mean they did nothing to stop 9/11 despite all the intelligence that they were planning it. It's only a matter of time before the American people say enough is enough . Most Republicans and most Democrats are on the same boat. They want to take all our freedoms away. To them our constitution is meaningless. So what can we do to stop this? Should we support a 3rd party? Perhaps Libertarians, Greens, Democratic Socialists, etc?

That passage will mean nothing to most people, but one word might ring a bell: rezhim-e. It is the word "regime." pronounced just like the English word with an extra "eh" sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not refer to Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime. This is a vastly significant distinction, as one cannot wipe a regime off the map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the specific phrase "rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods" (regime occupying Jerusalem).

Any time Bush scared the republicans with "terror" threats (Bush's terror threats that is) the republicans just handed over billions to wage a phony war.

I mean Newt Gingriche said Bush's war on terrorism is "phony".

So are the republicans embarrased? feel stupid? or mad that Bush stiff armed them and scared them so he coud offer "protection" from the scary terrorists?

Isn't that what the mob does? exortion? so bush stiff arms the republicans and tells them he'll "protect" them. Then the republicans get so scared they give Bush billions in tax dollars to fight a phony war?

Man what a RACKET! litterally.

No wonder I left the republican part. What a scam Bush pulled.

Aside from beleiving bush is the son of god, do cons just beleive anything Bush says or does?

Take Iraq for an example. The cons belive the stupid notion that if our soldiers are in Iraq the terrorist will flock to them in Iraq.

Let me get this right- 120,000 U.S. troops are in Iraq. So Al Quada is so stupid they wil go to Iraq and face our militaqry raqther than simply pass go and collect $200 on their way to the U.S. or any where else?

Is that correct? The terrorist are so stupid they wil go to face our military rather than avoid them?

Boy that's increadible. Sure glad Iraq and our military is serving as a "terrorist magnet". I feel safer already.

What's that? oh no attacks since 911? Yeah I know you wanted to mention that. good thing Bush hasn't run any more fake terror attacks lik ehe did on 911. Or Brittian for that matter. wow.

It takes decades for a senator to achieve seniority that allows him to assume chairmanships of various committes and subcommittes in the Senate. If Senator Larry Craig resigns, Idaho will lose all the advantages of seniority. In other words, the next senator from Idaho will be just a junior senator without any influence or power in the Senate. I am curious what Idahoans think about this. Do they want him to resign despite this fact or do they prefer to preserve the advantages of seniority?

Last year my parents tried to move our residency from CA to TX, but we live in Russia. We got our friends' address, filed last year's federal tax from TX, dad got a TX driver's license, we are paying for a home phone in TX as well. Is that good enough or do I actually have to do live there? And if something goes wrong, can we lose our CA residency status as well? I lived in TX for a year before but that was way back when I was in junior high.
