It takes decades for a senator to achieve seniority that allows him to assume chairmanships of various committes and subcommittes in the Senate. If Senator Larry Craig resigns, Idaho will lose all the advantages of seniority. In other words, the next senator from Idaho will be just a junior senator without any influence or power in the Senate. I am curious what Idahoans think about this. Do they want him to resign despite this fact or do they prefer to preserve the advantages of seniority?

Each state has two senators. The one that has been there the longest is the senior senator and the other is the junior senator. If they are both elected at the same time the one who is sworn in first is the senior senator. Idaho will not lose any advantage, and will probably be happy to be rid of Senator Craig.

confident. It shows a important diploma of unfavorable judgement to have carried out what he did. that may not what human beings or states prefer whilst it includes their Senator. Senators should not be caught appealing in unethical, immoral or offender behaviors. although, we've viewed how Massachusetts keeps sending offender and immoral Democrat Senators (Kennedy) and Representatives (Studds) lower back to Washington DC, so there could be no ethical preening from that area of the aisle approximately it. between the matters is that the seventeenth modification has made Senators much less responsible than whilst the state governments chosen them as their representatives interior the federal government.

Look anybody that solicits sex in bathrooms public or otherwise has a much more serious problem than sexual orientation.
If this is the kind of risk taking behavior he exhibits now what is there that we don't know about.
Unfortunately he has outlived his usefulness to his state and party and now just needs to seek help, right now.
