Bush actually looks more 'believable' than 'Woody Allen on Steroids' Reid.
Nancy Pelosi should realise that she holds the purse strings.
That's a mighty tool.
Opinions?

This is a great question!!!

It is clear that the vast majority of Democrats (as opposed to the vast majority of left wing nuts posting on here) are truly normal sane people who are embarassed with the antics of Pelosi and Reid. These people are so completely out of bounds in their political assaults on the administrative branch that they have managed to turn a very positive political environment into one in which they have upset the center and the base at the same time. This is a remarkably inept pattern which shows no signs of clearing up. Every issue (SCHIP, Armenia) is calculated in terms of what steps need to be taken to attack Bush. Bush actually suggested improved funding for SCHIP so the Democratic leadership decided to trump him by increasing the proposed funding sixfold. The administration asked for a delay on the Armenian genocide bill to ensure that we did not radicalize Turkey at a time when they wanted to invade Kurdistan and Pelosi seeing a political opportunity said no. Now the Turks have voted to invade Kurdistan with the potential to throw the region into a tailspin. Had we shown some modicum of restraint in this political attack we might have been able to avoid a Turkish incursion.

What hacks!!!

Pelosi, Reid, Murtha have turned Congress into Comedy Central, but I'm not laughing. They are only there, looks like, for the parties and the benefits of becoming a super lobbyist when their term is done.

It may not be weak leadership, they have to many masters.
It would seem that they have been bought off, or have pandered to, to many special interest groups, so to pay off Peter upsets Paul.
Those who know enough, not to support them just chip at their, lack of moral compass. The end result is poll rating well below the Presidents. One Major Mistake and the public will turn on them. Defund the war would be one of them.
