Check out this link and see for yourself. I always thought it was a word describing the end of the world, or battle of, but it is a real place.

Yes it is a real place ...Gordon is absolutely correct ... It is located in Israel.... History's Palestine....there is currently a archaeological dig going on there now. I think its in northern Israel...

It is not a real place, it is a word that implies the war that will bring the end of the world, try a nuclear war involving Russia the USA,and China. Western Europe.

It is more commonly called Megiddo (by the locals) and "Meghiddo" in Arabic.
