Honest to God. Liberals are just plain nuts. Don't they ever get embarrassed by their buffoonery? If we ignore them, will they go away? PLEASE?!?!?!

"Not so far beneath the surface, I think, we are becoming more, not less, alike.

I don't mean to exaggerate here, to suggest that pollsters are wrong and that our differences--racial, religious, regional, or economic--are somehow trivial, [but] facile expectations and simple explanations are being constantly upended. Spend time actually talking to Americans, and you discover that most evangelicals are more tolerant than the media would have us believe, most secularists more spiritual. Most rich people want the poor to succeed, and most of the poor are both more self-critical and hold higher aspiration than the popular culture allows. Most Republican strongholds are 40 percent Democrat, and vice versa. The political labels of liberal and conservative rarely track people's personal attributes."

Guesses, anybody? And what makes you guess the way you do?

Talk radio in America is predominantly right-wing. Many Democrats are floating the idea of bringing back the Fairness Doctrine, which requires equal time on talk radio for opposite sides of the political aisle. Conservatives bash the idea on First Amendment grounds. Liberals say Americans are better informed when exposed to equal portions of both sides of an issue. Where do you stand?

Does it make you stupid if you can't realize that the world would be a more dangerous place if the people who strapped bombs to their chests to kill others, controlled the government who controlled the oil riches of Iraq? Or would that just make you naive?

Can anyone explain to me how the security of a stable government in Iraq is not in the interest of not only our national security, but that of the world?

I know a lot of people out there believe global warming is a myth despite the fact most scientists who think it's true have nothing to gain from it, and most scientist who call it a myth work for companies that are not environmentally friendly. My question is: Why are you willing to bet you're children's and grandchildren's future on this? If I'm wrong and global warming is a myth, what we will do is good for the environment anyway. Our descendants will have a better world to live on. If you're wrong and we do nothing the people of the future will have huge problems. I know you don't like or trust Al Gore, but can we really afford not to do anything about this when so many respected scientist say the world will be a very difficult place to live in less than a century?

So I guess my question for all the people who don't believe in global warming is are you willing to bet you're children's future on it?

The federal government is considering a series of new rules that would apply to workplaces where "explosives" are handled, giving rise to a concern that the restrictions could be used to limit – or eliminate – reasonable access to firearms ammunition.

The government is using paperwork errors as small as the abbreviation of a city name to shut down some of the nation's longest-serving gun shops, and 2nd Amendment advocates fear the right to bear arms will mean little if there's no way to obtain a gun.

Think about it. If Bush is really innocent as Republicans say, why not give 50% of the public benefit of the doubt and start impeachment hearings?
If he's really innocent, then surely there's nothing to worry about.

Seriously, If you don't think Bush has broken any laws, don't bother to answer. I've outlined it for you so there's no confusion:
1) Blatant disregard for our international treaty obligations under the United Nations Charter and the Geneva Conventions - ie invading Iraq without the support of UN, and torture.

2) Growing evidence that the President deliberately misled the country into the war in Iraq.

3) Wiretapping of hundreds, possibly thousands, of Americans, in violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) -- without a warrant.

The framers of our Constitution feared executive power run amok and provided the remedy of impeachment to protect against it. While impeachment is a last resort, and must never be lightly undertaken or used frivolously.

So was Clinton's impeachment frivolous? Did it make impeachment such a joke that congress is afraid to utilitze this tool when really nessesary?
