Just read that 300 litres of sarin gas were found in Iraq after the initial invassion but it was hushed up. Bush has been so discredited by the fact that no WMD were found I think if that were true it would be displayed on every tall building in U.S. and restated every night on national television.

1. People who usurp their own religious beliefs to defend their policies. Which is a sin.
2. People who wish to force their religion upon others while simultaneously not living up to their religion's expectations. Which, according to Jesus, is a sin.
3. People who support war and then use "thou shalt not kill" as a reason against abortions.
4. People who say they are for less government control over the individual, and then enforce the PATRIOT ACT, the sanctity of marriage amendment, and other civilian intrusions.
5. People who lower taxes for the wealthiest one percent.
6. People who get in to office thanks to the less educated population states. (A proven fact)
7. People who accuse Democrats of being spendthrifts while bankrupting our economy.
8. People who accuse Liberals of being whiners while b*tching about: Gay People, Public Displays of the Ten Commandments, and Civil Rights.

If you don't, why not?

I personally think it will. I don't know actual figures from Washington and I'm definitely not on the inside, but the way our economy is functioning today, even the least politically/financially intelligent person can see the signs (if they look).

If you do think we're headed for one, do you think there's any way we can fix it? If so, what are your suggestions?

Freemasonry, a Jewish front created to seduce Christians and their leaders also orders the same command of lying for its members.

Help me understand... everybody who doesn't currently buy in the socialist philosophy is dumb, stupid, doesn't read, is a redneck, etc... So the thought is that by forcing leftist radio down their throats after they have rejected it in the marketplace of ideas those same morons will suddenly say "Viola!! Where has this programming been all of my life!!"

Dick Cheney has been a malevolent force on the checks and balances of American government for over six years. He has subverted government processes to lead us into this tragedy in Iraq, and is now seeking to do the same with Iran. Two countries, mind you, he did business with while CEO of Halliburton.

I am amazed as the number of people here who are and remain so passionate about things that are said about the president by others. Cursing, arguing, attacking!

It's just a forum for godssake! We're not writing a thesis or authoring new legislation!

At most, maybe 150 - 200 people come to this forum on any given day? There are about 300 million people in the United States.

After reading some comments by people on here saying they would not want their children to receive education in a foreign language, I have come to the conclusion our society is not divided by wealth, but by how they view the world.

On one side, there are people like myself who are open to innovation and believe things can be better. We are willing to adapt and realize "America" and the world will always change. We want our children to receive an education not just in our culture and its norms, but to have a good understanding of others. We are generally well educated and more nuanced when compared to the other "America."

The other side is driven by a fear of change. They believe nothing benefital can be learned from other societies. They fear anything that might be foreign. They oppose innovation because they might have to adapt. They are generally less educated and fear progress will hurt them.

Isn't this the fundamental division today in American society?

You pay in to Social security all you life and the money is not used for social security.
You pay for billions in healthcare yet we can't have a system that focuses on prevenative care but only catastrophic care.
You pay in tons of money for certain things and it is diverted to what the current politicians want it spent on and they tell us the programs are up and running that we want but there is no funding in reality.
I believe we shouldn't be paying all this money in like we are, we should cancel most of these programs if we are not going to get our money's worth and just do our own thing.
