How did you feel that day? I was in shock, I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to cry. My 20 yearold son made 2 videos
that speak volumes.

I bet the conservative dummies on Yahoo actually think their taxes will go down if there was a flat tax.

Progressive taxes are the way to go, the rich get way more corporate welfare than what others can't get (like George Steinbrenner with the city building a place for his baseball business), the rich get the benefits of an oppressive government, like the government protecting the baseball monopoly with government protecting copyrights, giving away airwaves to broadcast games, building infrastructure to access the ballparks, the courts protecting the reserve clause,
Of course, baseball is an obvious open example of corporate welfare. It's high time the pay their FAIR tax, which should be doubled!

I argue that terrorism is a Treasonous and seditious crime above that of Regicide- it kills purely innocent often sympathetic people.
In this case, the punishment must fit the crime and the death penalty alone is not deterrent enough. It necessitates a public and grotesque display to assuage all from attempting it.

Besides- we've done it in the past and it's proven to be successful.
Guy Fawkes? Not too many copied him after his punishment, did they?

Then we'd parboil the limbs and head, pop them on pikes and leave them somewhere visible, like a mosque or a Catholic church, or Falls or Shankle Road or the like.

I quite happily throw my mask into the ring as Chief Executioner. I've a strong tum-tum and I don't mind getting guts on my shoes for love of country.

Convince me even the thought of it wouldn't be highly satisfying- a terrorists testes and guts burnt before him?
For women terrorists- we just burn them as witches- easy.

Your views?

i've seen 'Earth Live' yesterday, and i got an immediate sick feeling about the creationists point of view in the world, and the results which became obvious in the elections.

I would like to ask which lobby that is, ignoring overwhelming evidence that we are about to destroy our planet.

Could it be that creationists be the ones being called responsible if we all mess it up ?

I find it rather amuzing reading all the answers posted and answers - most American think the world is revolving around them just like China when they were the strongest world empire then, sometime in history; which incidentally was what that led to their falls ! Wonder if America is also going that way ?

It's true! Next time you hear someone telling you some BS about a "fair tax" or a "flat tax" Remember this info! Taxes continue to take up a relatively small part of American economic output, according to data compiled by Citizens for Tax Justice from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the U.S. Treasury and the U.S. Census. For example, in all but two OECD countries, taxes make up a larger percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) than in the United States.(http://www.ctj.org/pdf/oecd07.pdf)The federal tax code has become so skewed in favor of investors over workers that personal taxes on earnings are now two-and-a-half times greater than personal taxes on investment income. That is the central finding of a new analysis by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), released today by Citizens for Tax Justice (CTJ). (http://www.ctj.org/pdf/earnpr.pdf)

And everyone can have a group hug and pat themselves on the back.
What will any supporters do to change their own consumption. We saw the Rock Stars won't.
I see people everyday in their SUV's, Minivans, 8 cylinder gas guzzling 15 mile per gallon, pollution belching vehicles with their "Stop Global Warming" bumper sickers.
I am a 47 year old Republican who quit driving last year and commutes in a business suit on a bicycle, aided by electric power.
Would any or all of you be willing to do that 2 days a week?
Or will the Limosuine crowd, wait for someone else to fix it while raising our "Awareness"?

(insurgents, the ones who strap bombs to themselves, and children) do you think they would, or would not, use the government funds to sponsor attacks throughout the world?

And if they did use those funds for attacks, isn't that a direct danger to our nations security?

Is it really that hard to understand?

I was in Tesco on Tuesday; as I walked down the aisle I realised that myself and my wife were the only two people around speaking english. When we came to the Jams we found a little old lady trying to get someone to help her reach some honey off the top shelf, I offered my help and the lady said she had been trying to get some help for about fifteen minutes but that the people she approached did not understand english, she then started rambling on (sorry but you probably know how older people have a knack for talking) about how the country had gone to pot and how her older brother would turn in his grave if he knew what he had fought for. At the time I was polite and listened but dismissed what I had heard. Since then I have been unable to shake what I heard and am viewing society in a new way and I have to say I am becoming more and more disenchanted with the multicultural model. After research, I'm sorry to say, I am starting to see where groups like the BNP are coming from.

I already have read the wikipedia pages on fascism and neo-fascism, so those references are assumed and not eligible for use. I'm looking for indicators, not overt policy platform statements (those being blatant enough).

Where and how would use of "unitary executive theory" fit into this circumstance?
