And everyone can have a group hug and pat themselves on the back.
What will any supporters do to change their own consumption. We saw the Rock Stars won't.
I see people everyday in their SUV's, Minivans, 8 cylinder gas guzzling 15 mile per gallon, pollution belching vehicles with their "Stop Global Warming" bumper sickers.
I am a 47 year old Republican who quit driving last year and commutes in a business suit on a bicycle, aided by electric power.
Would any or all of you be willing to do that 2 days a week?
Or will the Limosuine crowd, wait for someone else to fix it while raising our "Awareness"?

G...About 22 miles each way. I ride 6 miles, the put it on the front of the Bus. I live in Central Cal. Which is very spread out, so buses are about it. Try it. It's not as bad as you might think. Besides, my wife says I'm a hard body now!!!

Crazy...I'm not guilty at all...I just think it's better to do something personally, than to whine about others polluting. But thats just a personal choice.

All together now: "WE ARE THE WOOOOOORLD; WE ARE THE CHILDRENNNNN..." Oh wait, that was the OLD liberal thing. Now they're doing the global warming thing. They are so cute when they get together on these things, aren't they?

The concerts are like the ones in the past. Some people may change for a little bit, and very few for life, and then back to normal. It may bring attention, but the people that have the power to make the changes, don't care and the regular, everyday people simply don't care enough or think it's that important.

Funny... you ride your bike in a business suit feeling guilty about polluting the earth while I drive my SUV wearing a tank top, shorts and sandals feeling great knowing that man cannot possibly cause the climate to change.

If you're feeling guilty about energy consumption, look up the usage of energy and the amount of waste created to hold these ridiculous concerts.

well... the vast majority of people at the concerts weren't the "limousine crowd"... they were held all around the world... hopefully it will make a difference...

at least they are acknowledging the problem though and trying to do something... that's better than denying the problem... if you ask me...

and how far do you commute? it's simply not practical for many people... if it was practical, I could be interested... and at the same time, I don't drive a gas guzzler...

since the hypothesis that global warming is caused by human activities is unproven, not to mention likely false, the whole bit is theatre.

what the greens really want is to tell you that you must ride that bicycle to work every day and to shopping, too. It is a power trip and you're the designated victim.

i suggest you ignore them; I try my best to do so.

I'm still trying to figure how Al Gore got from Washington, DC to New York via light rail in only a few hours, or even via commercial aircraft.
