The fairness doctrine is just completely BS and calls for communism and socialism. This law was thrown out 20 years ago, man! And there's no way that the lefties will ever bring it to life. And what's the Boy's Club have to do with this?! Try to help Air America get back to its feet.

Again you are lying and being misleading, but then the more posts I read from you that is completely all you are about.
Absolutely no one on the left has asked for, wants, or is writing legislation that would bring the Fairness Doctrine back. The Fairness Doctrine was abolished in 1987.
Want the progressive talk show hosts are hoping for is for the monopolistic companies like Cumulus, a strong conservative owned corporation that is purposely blocking these progressive talk shows, to open their publically owned air time for both conservative and progressive talk.
Why are the right wing talk shows so afraid of going head-to-head with progressive talk shows? The last two presidential elections were basically almost a 50-50 split in votes so by blocking progressive talk and progressive talk listeners, these stations are eliminating almost half of the listening public, and almost half of the potential ad revenues. Seems like an isolationist, not profit friendly environment to be running a company.
Are companies like Cumulus that afraid of putting both sides of the issues on the same station?
Are the conservative issues so weak that companies like Cumulus feel the need to protect their listeners from hearing both sides?

The left wants the 'Fairness Doctrine' to stop people like Malkin, Limbaugh, Hannity, et al from influencing simple-minded people voting for a another disastrous idiot like Bush.

Anybody who promotes the fairness doctrine in this age of unlimited media outlets wants to stop conservative talk radio. There is no other reason for it. Talk radio and the internet are among the few truly democratic media outlets which exist. You can be in favor of the fairness doctrine, or free speech, but not both.

The only people that talk about Fairness Doctrine are the repulicans, I haven't neither seen nor heard anything in the Congress to suggest anything you claim.
Please provide proof, or stop crying.
