Because we want to control the mid east .The oil is better grade .If we can find an excuse to invade iran now we will have control of the largest oil reserves .Mexico is lower grade oil and if we went to war with mexico we would be fighting in our country .Their would be to much risk that our phony politicians might get injured or killed .We already control the mexican govt. Mexico has enough corrupt govt. officials they get along great with our political palm greasers

Plus never take an ounce of it. Mexico and Venezuala are so much closer and easier targets. Of course we could drill here at home and get the hundreds of years worth of supply that we know we have.

You have fallen for a political myth.
Information about what's going on in politics comes from several groups of people, of which 3 dominate:
* Republicans
* Democrats
* Conspiracy Theorists
The largest group are the 3rd on my list.
They would have you believe that President Bush was smart enough to organize a conspiracy of thousands of people to falsify 911, but not smart enough to resolve the war in Iraq, for the purpose of getting their oil. It is all a fantasy, but millions of people have fallen for this nonsense.
Actually USA's oil is the closest of all.

Because we were invaded by Mexico.
BTW.. I only use gas from Hess. Hess gasoline is mostly from the Gulf of Mexico, and not from the ME.
