I don't think I would really add any amendments to the Constitution. I would amend it though. For starters the 14th amendment would be amendment so that their only way you can be born a US citizen is if your parents are US citizens. That would go along way towards solving th illegal immigration problem. Plus many nations have a policy just like it.
I would also amend the Constitution so the president does not have unlimited pardon powers. That is way to much power and because today's politicians are not even good enough to worship the ground Washington walked on it is a dangerous power. Washington turned down a chance to be king. Todays politicans are corrupt, and the pardon power has been used for evil. Not just with Bush letting libby off, but with Ford pardoning Nixon, and not to forgot the Clintons pardoning Mark Ritch, and Bill pardoning his cokehead brother in law.

Public Finance of Campaigns: No money from anyone. There would be mandatory attendance for candidates at debates. Media would be required to broadcast the debates. Mudslinging would be illegal.

Congressional/Presidential Salary Amendment: Tie the salaries of our politicians and beurocrats to the average salary of the American Worker.

Fair Trade Amendment: Free trade only between countries with similar standards of living because the American worker can't compete with slave labor. Countries that place high tarrifs on our goods would have high tarrifs placed on theirs.

Remove the Presidential Pardon: No more ability of the president to pardon whoever he wants to.

Line Item Veto: Give the President line item veto power to help stop pork.

No Riders: Make riders to bills illegal to help stop pork.

Balanced Budget Amendment.

Until we make government follow the Constitution and enforect the laws that we now have amendments won't do much good though.

The Tenth Amendment states:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

The federal government was declared to have the right to protect us from all enemies, foreign and domestic, regulate interstate and foreign commerce, to declare war, and levy taxes. Pretty much everything it does beyone this is unconstitutional.

We need to return to the smaller, less intrusive government that our founding fathers set up. Then we can return to much lower taxes.

Repeal the XVIth Amendment, i.e. the Income Tax Amendment and abolish the Internal Revenue Service as it currently exists.

Require all states to recognize the Concealed Weapons Permits issued by all other states under the full faith and credit doctrine as pertains to licenses.

Prohibit the Federal Government from borrowing any monies over and above projected annual income, except in time of declared war. Any borrowing must be repaid in the fiscal year following the loan, except in time of declared war.

Only children of US Citizens are born Natural Citizens.

Senators and Congressmen may not serve more than two consecutive terms in office. Former Senators and Congressmen may stand for election after being out of office for two terms. Two term members of the Senate or Congress may not run for office in the other house until after they have been out of office for at least one term.

Federal Judges are to be appointed for a term of 12 years, and may be reappointed at Presidential discretion without limit.

Presidential appointments will be either confirmed or rejected in not more than six months after nomination.

No Candidate for Federal Office may spend more on their campaign, than the income from that office would produce during the term for which the candidate is running.

That will do for a start.
