Why is that - are they just biased, or what?

I mean, if Reagan was such an evil guy (and, believe me, if you weren't around or paying attention when he was in office, the left-wingers were screaming and shouting just as loud then as they are now about Bush) and it was going to take decades to undo the "damage" he'd done, how come Clinton's tenure was marked by the lefties telling us non-stop how wonderful everything was? Heck, they're STILL telling us about the halcyon days of the Roaring '90s.

Do you suppose that if the next president is from the Democrat Party that the lefties, after a period of adjustment during which they'll still be foaming at the mouth about Bush (even though he'll be history at that point), will go back to telling us what a wonderful world we once again live in?

Are they really that predictable? I think they are.

I'm doing a persuasive speech on capital punishment, but I'm not going to tell you which side I'm on. I'd just like to hear some arguments that would help me out. Thanks!

Also, if you are against it, I have another post coming up shortly after this one that I would appreciate you responding to.

Presidential Candidates should make this a plank on their platform. This is a key security issue, and it provides a non-lethal way to inhibit a shooter from harming a big group of people. If there was 1 taser per teacher, then school shootings would be greatly hindered, and maybe deterred.

At the least, it would give people in schools a chance to defend themselves.

I'd like to see a Giant Statue of President Bush on the mall in Washington D.C., about twice the size of the Washington Monument (we need to change that law about it being the tallest) A giant bronze statue 100's of feet tall with the American flag in one hand and him stepping on little statues of Hillary, Kennedy, Kerry, Al Gore under his feet.

Do they do things like have 401k's. Investments in stocks, bonds or any other kinds of securities.
Or do they spend what money they have on things like partying, new "stuff" or other toys. Or possibly travel expenses to the many protests they go to?

Just wondering.

I have no problem with rich people. They have always been the ones to give me a job. They are the ones that started the companies that I own stock in and am making money that way as well.
In other words, the richer they get, the richer I get.

Ignorant of numerous forces beyond their control that they created decades ago.
Greed started the demise of the US economy.
Now its time to pay up.
To bad.
Most things Americans buy are NOT made in America. Most things Europeans and Asians buy are NOT made in America.
The dollar is weakening. Europeans and Asians have less and less reason to support the US economy because of the weakening dollar, agriculture losses, the severely weakening residential construction industry,oil/gas prices rising(europe has high gas prices but they have numerous alternatives to vehicle travel-we dont-California has NO true state transportation system),etc...... The list is longer than I can write.
CAN YOU DO THE MATH?

So many people feel that it is necessary to follow and support your country, no matter what the circumstances. What troubles me is that part of being a citizen is publically speaking out about the government. If free speach was created in a way that allowed us to question the government, then why do so many people think it is so wrong?

before the Industrial Revolution (it's a fact, look it up), with the resulting global warming that melted the ice THEN, how can anyone with a scrap of common sense say that any global warming we may have today isn't the result of the same thing that melted the ice before? Did the Neanderthals have SUV's and factories? Why have we found no evidence of this?

Okay, rabid Left-wingers, try to answer this without insults and calling me stupid. I know that's a common tactic, but I'm trying to have a dialogue here. Show that your grown-up enough to do this.

Americans wil find themselves in Waterloo like situation if they attack Iran.It is unfortunate that the American leaders for the past decades have tried very hard to impose their ideas and rulings on third world countries including Iran.I am sure this time America will not succeed any longer and instead find itself in a situation that has no other option that to retreat!so my advice to Mr. Bush is dont create another shameful situation for Americans and let us live at peace and try fight our common enimies such as deceases and other destructive elements which hurting human beings together.Let other smaller and weaker nations also taste their own free society without interferance of super power.I hope and pray that there be no other war and bloodshed ever happen in Iran................
