Lets pretend that a group of parents have objected to the mention of the concept of evolution being taught in the public schools. The school district always wants to keep the parents happy but they also feel that evolution is a key concept in science. Your job is to present both sides of the issue. Your report needs to include both the purpose for evolution in science and the removal of evolution in science. There is not set volume that needs to be written, only that you cover both issues.

why did the democrats even bother trying to challenge bush on money for troops?

they knew he would veto! i do not like bush, but in this case, i actually agreed with his reasoning!!! the troops need all the financial help they can get these days! if the democrats hope to make any progress on iraq issue, they will have to wait until the elections, and hope they get elected so they can pull troops out! there seems to be nothing! they can do until bush is out! agreed? if not, what can the democrats do?

Are the republican presidential nominee's beter suited for president than the democratic nominee's?

Republican's top canidates are: Giuliani, Romney, McCain, Paul and the Democrat's top canidates are: Clinton, Obama, Edwards and Biden.

Giuliani and Romney seem like the best canidates for president from either party in my opinion.

What are your thoughts?

Exactly what major threat do democrats pose to republicans?

I have heard quite a bit of news about how liberal American democrats are, and what a huge threat they pose to the welfare of the country, should they retain power. What exactly does the democratic agenda contain that is so threatening to republicans? Also, from an international point of view, it seems as though the democratic party is more in line with the issues of minorities in the U.S., and for whatever reasons, they (democrats) seem to be much more likely to receive suport of minorities in America. Are there also republicans who are minorities and who command significant respect in the republican party? Why do so many minorities consider the republican party to be racist? Wasn't the republican party responsible for the abolition of slavery? Sorry if my facts are a bit out of whack- we learned some things about American history in school, but that has been a long time ago, and the things I ask now are not commonly discussed on shows that I can receive here in Europe.

does anyone know how many people have died since the dropping of the atom bombs and the use of agent orange?

i mean 5 years after they were used on civillians,including also from unexploded bombs and muntions in vietnam?? Is the answer in the hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands?And has the u.s ever appoligised to the people of vietnam or compensated them?

Did you see that MSNBC has reported that Ron Paul won the first Republican debate?

He at least recieved the most votes. He is a real republican and it's great to see that his message is resonating with the American people. Ask yourself why the media is not talking about him. Do you think they are going to have to start?

Do you think that Islam is going to be the world religion and Obama is the Anti-Christ?

In the US people are bending over backwards to cater to them...teaching Islam in CA schools, retrofitting areas so they can wash their feet and hands (all the while silencing any form of Christianity).

Now...out of no where...here comes Obama...NO experience (though SOME people think that he is the greatest) and he has a Muslim background.

Why do so many not understand that the unempoyment statistics do not represent the true picture?

Simply put the unemployment statistics single digit percentages only show who is getting unemployment pay NOT how many people are out of work and want a job! The true unemployment rate maybe over 25% Detriot area is over 42% New Orleans Unknown?

Show me one god damn person in this country who is starving to death...?

I'll personally grill them up a steak dinner. I am sick of hearing poeople complain about the standard of living for the poor in this country. Drive through any of the poor neighborhoods in this country and you will undoubtably find able bodied individuals playing checkers and drinking beer in the middle of the work week. The unemployment rate is at an all time low, and we still have people clamoring across the border finding jobs at a record pace. We give every boy and girl free education, and when they turn 18 a credit card company is more than willing to extend them credit they have not yet earned. If you *** that up than your just a plain idiot and deserve to live in poverty(microwave, color tv, cable, internet, airconditioning, natty ice....). How many minorities in your public school elected honors or ap classes? (By the way I am a minority, so I don't have to follow pc standards or something.) No more hand outs, please
