I live in a predominately white community and I've seen people passed over for jobs who were more qualified than the people who were hired simply because a company had to fill it's quota for hiring minorities, isn't that discrimination against white people?

If anything Democrats have been way to lenient in dealing with Bush.,
Does anyone recall his strong words against dmocrats before the 06 election? Or how hes found loopholes to sneak friends into office. The latest being appointing 2 more of his friends to office when Congress went on their Easter session for one week, where Bush found a loophole to instate 2 positions, when congress voted against them?

In looking at his distain for democracy and government oversight, and by taking into consideration all his pre presidential actions and comments -- Its easy to point to a president whos not doing a good job.

THATS not giving him enough credit.

Hes a political mastermind. And if he was able and willing to lead us into this war, and continually works to keep us there despite no true efforts made by IRAQ government, then could it be hes just plain greedy.

Dems should wake up and realize they are dealing with an evil dictator!!!!!
And deal with him accordingly

years ago? I heard of one major Al Qaeda leader being killed by a bomb dropped by a US plane but other than that almost nothing.

So if in 4 years the US military has killed 1 major Al Qaeda figure in Iraq how long do you think it will take to kill the 1000s of Al Qaeda terrorists that are in Iraq right now? 150 years?

So that leaves Bush w/ two options: Nuke Iraq off the face of the earth or withdraw all US troops from Iraq? Which sounds better to you?

The Democrat Congress can't muster enough votes to end the war, so in the event the election in 08 goes against the Republican Party, let a Democrat President do it.

After the 'mortal sin'.
Bush now has a 70% DISapproval rating.
Coincidence?

No one but the neo-cons, the KKK, and the skin-heads are defending the LA police brutality against demonstraters who were peacefully gathered in a public park--as they had every right to do. Most of theese people--including reporters from FOX news who were attacked by these "policemen" on camera--are American citzens.

The Chinese COMMUNIST government policy is to treat demonstrators like that. Apparently the neo-cons have more in common with them than with the law and values of America. So why shouldn't we send them where they'll be happy?

On May 15th 2007, all internet users should not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companys pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldn’t) resend this to all on your contact list with it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"

I n April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

In protest of high gas prices, May 15, 2007 is the day that all internet users are requested to not get gasoline.

Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places. There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30- to 50 dollars to fill up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000, 000.00 (almost 3 BILLION!) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day.

If you're in agreement, please send this to all on your contact list.

Do you agree with commentator Gary Younge, writing in the London GUARDIAN, that the Democrats are also acting in a cowardly way?

He says: The Iraq war is over. It is the moment for Democrats to show real leadership". The vast majority of Americans and the new Congress want Bush to fold the tent on his failed war, for which the Republican president continues to bang the drum."

He notes: "Like most acts of principle, making this move carries significant political risk. But not making it carries the certainty of thousands more dead Iraqis and hundreds more dead soldiers.

"To postpone withdrawal is simply to prolong the agony. Yet it seems the Democrats are set to cave in on their demand of setting a timetable, agreeing instead to 'non-binding benchmarks' on the Iraqi government, an impotent body that lacks authority and legitimacy. That would not be compromise but capitulation. "

Are both Bush and the Democrats failing us now?

The fabled snows of Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro may not succumb to global climate change as quickly as scientists had feared. A joint Austrian-U.S. research team that took seven years of measurements from weather stations atop Africa's tallest mountain says that its ice fields will be around for another 30 to 40 years /snip/ The research team found new evidence showing that lower precipitation—and not rising temperatures on the summit—is the main cause for the Kilimanjaro glaciers' retreat.
