They do not know any better. Most opinions we hear are coming from who my Mom would call "young-ins" (people under 30). Living a good life makes people take it for granted.
Other countries poverty level soars - many countries citizens live off hundreds a year. The US is one of the richest country per person - we have health care, food clothes readily bought in convenient stores. Democrats see the half empty glass & forget what seems like a harmless criticism to them is view by the rest of the world as a major weaknessin the US.
I love the USA & our miltary.

What an inane question - obviously if they were "anti America" they would not care what a mess it's become (stagnant economy, weak dollar, billions flowing out daily to support a foreign war, etc...) and would not even be trying to participate in government.
We are a democracy and therefore people whose views oppose yours have a right to voice their opinions and change their government. Most Americans have stated that they want a universal healthcare system that works, but instead we have an unending war that is decimating our country. Which party is anti citizen again? With the money being wasted on the war in Iraq, the US gov could have funded a health care system and the millions of working people without coverage could live their lives without fear. Like the rest of the civilized world that actually cares about their citizens. These are white collar workers without coverage by the way, people with jobs and families that cannot afford coverage..
In 1999 this was a great country to live in - look at us now.

I am a democrat and I am not Anti-American. I was in Italy in WWII and in Korea in 1950 thru 1953. Many people now believe that we were mislead into Iraq. I don't think all Republican agree with George W Bush either. Oh, the far right wingers think they are always right. but being right is not always correct, no more than being left in incorrect. America can no longer be the police force for the world. It costs much in Money and lives ours and others

And how do you define caring about Americans? Occupying Iraq? Outsourcing American jobs to China where companies can pay their workers $0.05 an hour and not put in any safety procautions in the name of profit? Increasing America's debt so future generations will have to pay higher taxes in order to pay the debt?
The Democrats DO care about Americans. The problem is that most NeoCons whole heartedly believe the idiotic argument that if you don't agree with "my" definition of America, you're not an American. Most NeoCons ought to ask people, including other NeoCons what their definition of America is. You'll find out that there are as many definitions as there are people.

Better question why do Republicans always point their finger towards Democrats? After all people are still in Iraq in a pointless blood bath thanks to being under the leadership of a complete imbecile Republican. Who is also pissing every other country off and running America into the ground...so maybe the reason Dems are talking to other countries is to save America from getting its *** kicked...

For the past 8 years the Repubs have down absolutely nothing that could be called 'pro-American' other than illegally invade a foreign country. The Repubs have raped individual rights, created a huge national debt, sent our soldiers off to war inadequately armed or protected, have lied, cheated, and stolen the pride of America throughout the rest of the world. And you are calling the Dems 'anti-American'. Sorry but the Republicans win that contest hands down.

Gee that is news to me. I have been a Democrat for over 40 years, served in the military, go to church all that stuff. I love mom, apple pie, hot dogs and baseball. I'm not too fond of Cheverolet though. Anyway, I get a lump in my throat every time I hear The Star Spangled Banner. I belive in democracy. I belive that diversity and dissent are essential for a healthy democracy to work. If everyone walked in lockstep with the fearless leader we would have a country like North Korea where they worship their leader like a god and no one dares even think of dissent or commenting to the contrary. They do and they are never seen again.

How are they "anti America"? You should rephrase your question to something a bit more sensible, such as: "Why are anti-Americans anti-America?"
To say that a political party is against the nation that it represents is illogical. During the US involvement in Vietnam, many Republicans were against both the war and the administration's bumbling of it, were they anti-American?
How about this question: "Why are Conservatives so keen to label anyone opposed to their individual beliefs as anti-American?"

Because they are traitors. Yes!, said it! They are scrawny little cowardly traitors. Just look at them. Harry Reid is a Barney Fife look-a-like. Pelosi is like your crazy aunt who you hated to have over the house, and John Murtha is like the nut who lives in the cardboard box under the bridge. They should all be on trial for Treason!

They're not anti-America. They just hate everything America stands for. They want the government to control everything and for you to sit there and take what they give you. Seeing you walk around happy and in need of their support fills them with rage.
