Why is it OK for Rush Limbaugh to call Barack Obama the "N" word, when Don Amos was fired for simply describing some basketball players as "nappy"? I think this is another example of the conservative-controlled media that has a double standard. Conservatives can get away with anything, while the more mainstream journalists are oppressed.

I know this question was already asked, but I want to see what people think.

I believe it is. The Left and Right are on the same side. (keep the little man down and the rich man rich) I'm tired of the BS. I'm tired of the government not taking care of the real issues in America. I'm tired of US sending Billions of Dollars oversees with no return. I think it's time to take our country back.

I believe in a new idea, The American Party. Where we get back to our routes, where we do whats right, where we take care of our own before the world, where we mind our own business. Am I talking like an isolationist, yes, but there is so much more to. I'm not saying cut off the world, I'm saying take care of our home before we go clean someone else's house.

So, the question is, what do you think??? By "you" I mean you, not what someone else told you to think!

I was approached the other day by this guy wanting money on the street scary huh. I live in ny and it's filled with homeless yes I feel sorry but the world is just too scary of a place. People live there daily lives go to work make money and we don't even know what would hit us if we got attacked again. Do you think that all of us will need some sort of protections like a weapon ??? It's hard to say who is a terrorist and who isn't and who would inflict harm to others. We not only have terrorists but rapists and sexual predators what a lot of crazy *** people out there. What's your take on this issue????

More and more evidence is coming to light that the Bush/Cheney ticket is one of the most corrupt administrations ever. Clinton was impeached because he couldn't keep it in his pants. Yet what Bush and Cheney have been doing is verging on criminal if not actually there. Why is this administration being protected when what they have done far exceeds anything that occurred during Watergate and Clinton's trist. Isn't it time for them to go?

So I would like to know what people think of having it mandatory for businesses to be closed 2 days a week....It wouldn't necesarily have to be the weekend but 2 days in a week would have millions of less cars traveling to work, mall, grocery stores, etc...It would make people unwillingly have to find other things to do with their time....and gase money....this would reduce the CO contributions into the atmosphere....another plus maybe people would find more family time like the good old days when things shut down at 5pm and weren't open 24/7....Oh ya I forgot that those big complanies have quota's to make and forget the warming of the earth....If businesses even closed at 6 pm every nite just think of the energy saved just shutting the lights off, having cooler temperatures in buildings after hours and not having people driving around aimlessly. Hey it might even help with the crime blight.....wow what a great concept.....just think the simple good ole days....will we ever see it???

Actually, whatever happened to the US the world knew in JFK times? What changed? How come a civilized nation has a funny faced president who looks exactly like Alfred E.Newman? What, me worry? I know the answer very well, but I would like to hear what other working minds are thinking. Thank you.

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they
pay
me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as
they see
fit. In order to get that paycheck I am required to pass a
random
drug test, which I have no problem with.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass the urine test. Shouldn't one have
to pass a
urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to
earn it for them.

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get
backon their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping
someone sit on their butt using my taxes to get high.

Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people
had
to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check.

Why else would gasoline prices have increased so dramatically since the Democrats took control of Congress?

$2.18 in Janurary, to

$3.12 today

In just 5 months after the Democrats took Congress.

Something is fishy in the House and Senate leadership chambers.

Why can't these people work together to get initiatives accomplished....it is the only career I know that you still get paid but don't have to work together and don't have to come to a solution with any of the issues brought forward on to their plate....why tell me why and why do all the same dough heads always get elected....Kennedy....Why can't we get normal people in our governmet that actually represent the majority of those that live in this country.....It is always the rich ruling the middle and the poor....what is wrong with that.

If the argument for ownership of firearms is for protection against the criminals who own guns, then why is the crime and violence much lower in certain countries (say Japan or England), where gun owernship is highly restricted? If restricting or criminalizing gun ownership supposedly will only help the criminals, why don't criminals in Japan or England take advantage of the strict gun laws, get themselves some guys and start creating chaos?
