I thought peace and allies makes a Nation stronger. What is with these so-called war crazy Conservatives labeling every Muslim Nation an enemy and sponsor of terror? The only reason that peace has not prevailed is because Bush insists on cutting off dialog and making wars instead.

Pelosi goes over and visits Syria and she gets Iran to release U.K.'s soldiers. She also is getting Syria to talk about peace with Israel.

The fact is that she went over to talk and get things done instead of putting pressure on and causing a war to begin!

You see Con's, she is making progress and she is getting things done. The only reason you people cry about it and yell foul is because you want to exterminate every member of Islam!

Allies and negotiations with meaningful dialog don't make a country weaker, they create peace and stability. Something you wouldn't know about.

1. Bush cheated to win the election, why how could it be twice Florida was the determining factor?? How coincidental that Judith Bush, the sister of Bush is the Governor of Florida???

2. Bush and his gangs kept using FEAR tactics on the ignorant Americans by saying over and over "if we don't fight there then they will come here." What a hock a bull crap. Al Queda is in Afganistan not Iraq as the main location. But the point is that he is MANIPULATING the Americans by using the most effective psycho babble FEAR tactic! Come on guys it's the most common psychology that parents use on kids! Focking manipulative EVIL jackass!

3. Chaney has Lesbain daughter and yet the conservative thinks that Kerry or Gore is the liberal freaks.

4. Both are involved with pharmaceutical and oil companies and is it a coincidence that oil prices sky rocketed since they took over the office?

But the bottom line AGAIN they are using MANIPULATIVE SNEAKY FEAR TACTICS on the average Amercans!

This is just the beginning in a series of events leading up to war.

Nobody will remember these things when war is declared on Iran and insist that Iran is peaceful and they never had any intent on building WMD's.

Ahmadinejad is pushing issues to the point of confrontation, then backs off. That is the exact same thing Saddam has done. Invading Kuwait, shooting at US aircraft, barring nuclear inspectors, etc.

Then after they are defeated, they call it a victory.
They call it a victory because they have intimidated "Satan" or what they call western intimidation or bullying.

"Unfortunately the British government was not even brave enough to tell their people the truth, that it made a mistake," Ahmadinejad said.

Will we ever find out who was right and who was wrong?
Who really won, who lost?
Who submitted?

I was raised in NV. It's a state run by the special interests. No one in Vegas can have a lawn, but the casinos can have all the water they want, even though NV is in SEVERE drought. Vegas is the only real commercial center in the entire state, Boulder City is NV's only classy town, the rest is full of sleaze and desert white trash. The state is continental US's least densely populated. Why is Harry Reid your leader?

I am grateful they let the prisoners go. The prisoners spoke with the president and they thanked him for the good treatment they received. I have heard the president in interviews. He is calm respectful and seems reasonable. However I have also heard of atrocities done to women in Iran for protesting. Iran hosted the Holocaust deniers conference. They were ones who captured the soldiers in the first place. The president also said Israel is a cancer. Plus they support Hezbollah. I am so torn. What I want is for America to be able to say is, sorry for any differences we have had, lets work together to make the world a better place. I'm tired of the political rhetoric going back and forth and the propaganda on both sides. But at the same time, I want to be able to call evil when I see it. It should not be tolerated, but evil occurs in our country too. How can I make a decision when I am getting mixed messages. I don't feel like I can fully trust the US gov to tell me what evil is.

Everyone knows the reason that we were so prosperous during the Clinton Admin was that G.B. Sr paved the way so smoothly. Clinton just rode that good time wave to recklessly at our expense, that's why G.W. had such a hard time, he's fixing Clinton's mistakes. I actually heard this from a Rep, he wasn't joking. Some reps really think Clintons mistakes are what's screwing us now

You know that Social Security spending accounts for about half the total federal spending, right? I've known at least 4 drug addicts who get their fix from SS (taxpayers) Do you feel that your taxes should go to people who don't even pay into the fund? I'm sick of seeing my taxes go to support pathetic semi-handicaps, whose disabilty is in their own minds.

I have real problems with this - to me, it is a symbol of bigotry, of the subjugation of women. But in some countries it is considered a sign of respect.

The US may be seen as "prudish" by other nations. But by definition we work to avoid discrimination. So it's hard for me to think of a parallel. Obviously, decades ago, a black person would probably face more racism and official indignities in the US than, say, Canada.

But the practice of seeing American women don veils while in the Middle East frankly makes me mad. Part of me wants to snidely suggest that WE institute a custom of forcing men from countries that subjugate women to wear dunce caps while in the US. But that's obviously childish.

So what do we do - when a sign of respect in one country is a sign of extreme DISrespect (to women) in another?

Am I taking the veil too seriously? I understand the rule of "when in Rome." And I am NOT seeking to denigrate other cultures. But we should be able to discuss.

Nice turnout, more than a dozen. With waves of people like that confronting him, it's a wonder Bush is holding firm.

our enemies such as Syria who is constantly supplying arms to terrorists.

When foreign policy leaves our borders it should leave as 1 message, 1 policy. With this rift between reps and dems now Bush is saying one thing and then Pelosi is going out without authorization or warning and saying a different message. This is bad for the country. Also, these people hate women, they probably laughed at her once she left and spoke fo how she should be burried to her neck in sand for coming there.

Food which is produced and reared in the UK is ignored in favour of imported produce for official banquets and the Whitehall staff canteens.
Only 49% of the beef, lamb and pork served at the Foreign Office in 2006 was UK-reared, and only 40% of the fruit and vegetables served came from the UK. Britain has the largest variety of cheeses ANYWHERE (600+), but even this did not prevent the Foreign Office from importing 60% of its cheese.

The National Farmers' Union has said they are "shocked" at the revelations, and said that the Government had no excuse for not using British suppliers for the majority of its produce.

What are your opinions? Should British organic, rare-breed and/or small-scale producer food food be showcased by the Foreign Office?

Is this a similar case to the Bernard Matthews scam profiteering with its imported poor quality, diseased turkey?

Since President Bush was elected by due process fair and square, we have had to listen to the losers complain ad naseum and just be mukrakers and such bad losers for almost 7 years! Why are democrats so hostil and unable to show some decorum in the public eye. Ironically, I notice that this party seems to attract the same kind of emotional disturbed people it elects. Why such bad sports? Heck, you'd think they'd be all in favor of the election process and repsect the will of the voters?
