I'm talking about anyone, from either party, currently in government or running for President. Please give me a source for your information? And please use sources that quote the person and not sources that tell you what someone else meant when they said what they said?

Bingo Crabby, I only hear differences in strategy in Iraq. Apparently a lot of people, from both parties, only heard "cut and run".

Jacob, Redeployment means change strategy. It does not mean abandon. Joe Biden suggested that we redeploy our troops from the Iraqi cities to the Iraqi borders. That is a change in strategy and not abandonment.

Cappi, Just as I thought you cannot give me one person, not one, who suggested that we would be completely abandoning Iraq. And just as I thought, your arrogance won't allow you to even consider that there may be a better way to do it than the way you have settled on.

I don't have any sources for you--because as far as I know no one on either side has suggested abandoning Iraq. The only thing along those lies I've heard are propaganda assertions by the Bush administration that any proposal that doesn't endorse their course of action is tantamount toabandoning Iraq--which is patently false, of course.

While you can argue semantics about what is meant by withdrawal or redeployment, the result will be the same, the abandonment of the people of Iraq.

Withdrawals and redeployments will not strengthen our position against the islamic terrorist and will distance ourselves from the locations where the Iraqi people are being murdered.

How would such a thing be better? If it is better, who would it be better for? You? The soldiers? The politicians?

What about the Iraqi people? Would it be better for them? They are the real losers in any withdrawal/redeployment plan. For all your concerns about peace, liberals somehow are oblivious to the losses of people when you assume a "peace at any price" viewpoint.

Who's peace? Ours. Maybe, but not likely. The Iraqi people's peace? There won't be any.

Your question and comment are devoid of logical reasoning as to causes and effects on REAL PEOPLE.

The Iraqi people.

Murtha and every other democrat that uses the term "redeployment".

By the way, it does not matter anymore. The democrats have just come up with a brilliant solution! Just define the problem away! What war on terror? See link.

That sounds like a lie that Rush Limpbaugh would say.
