Bush is a Lame Duck and he knows it.
So do the Democrats.
They are treating him and how he thinks as though he does not matter.
In reality, he doesn't.
The dems will do as they please re the Middle East.
In some areas they will succeed.
In others they will fail.
I am against this president for many reaons.
But I detest the fact that he seems either afraid, or unwilling to open a positive dialogue with many other countries.
I need a more open president.
I need a president who does not need a "Carl Rove" greeting on his wakeup call.
I do not need a president who travels to a country in which he has caused such death and destruction, and does so under a cloud of secrecy.
I do not need a president who sends a woman (Condi) to do the job of President in these days and times.

Three 6-months terms to go...and countilg.

I think that Democrats are seeking political power, and that is it. Nancy Pelosi is a disgrace to her position, defying the White House and talking with the President of Iran.....These people are out to do the opposite of whatever Bush does, no matter what.....they are currently the intellectual equivalents of school kids fighting over who is the coolest.

At least they are talking to the people in charge...Not just ignoring them and threatening them with war. I believe this is a good thing.
