I have answered several questions which have related to Iraq and the Middle East. In my opinion the basic problem is the State of Israel that was imposed on the Plaesitiians in 1947 (or there about) that is the problem and the yanks who arm them. Answers that put the blame for the situation in the Israeli and yankee court have been removed as a violation, seems to be censorship to me. Any one else agree?

I think the old 'checks and balances' are not strong enough to ensure the goverment comes out on top. Lobbyist's backed by huge Corporations have the money to buy politicians. The media in too few hands has the power to control perceptions and votes. In the old days a goverment could look after the peoples interests by breaking up and legislating against monopolies, now they are too scared of being voted out of office on the whim of a media proprietor. Individuals are easilly ignored. We need something bigger than the Corporations - big enough to put them back in their box. It seems to me the internet is a tool that could work for the people. Could I suggest that everyone who reads this and feels the same post on the internet, asking those that read their posts to do the same. LETS CREATE A GROUNDSWELL FOR DEMOCRACY ON THE NET demanding the breaking up of monopoly media, the outlawing of lobbyists, & reform of electoral finance so that people with integrity not just money run.

Before Bushes, CIA was intruging everywhere and American soldiers weren't much involved in the dirty business of non-American interests. But now they are dying in Iraq. All because of the new American Foreign Policy of Preemptive Strike which seems to be a policy of non - American capital owners who want immediate results and who use American government and American army for its own interest..

WHy is it the liberals YA have to ask why Bush is in Iraq 100 times over? Can they not read the facts in the newspapers, TV, even here with a lot of YA users being very well-informed and educated beyond the propaganda the leftist media churns out to cause dissension and division amongst Americans. Please: Explain Liberals, what about this IRAQ Sunni-Shia infighting for a hundred years-war don't you get?

Nov. of 2005, Reid practically shut down the Senate asking where is Part II report. Republicans said two weeks... it is still not done. It was to investigate if intelligence was used properly that took us into Iraq. Such an important item, especially if we were misled into an unnecessary war. Could there be any higher crime? How can we get Congress to investigate this and provide the Part II report?

I dont ask or answer a lot of questions I just like to read them but I have read loads about the American soldiers fighting for their freedoms and that they fought for their freedom of speech and all that.

So I want to know who they fought for that freedom or who tried to take that away ?

I also see a lot of answers by people from America saying that they have the freest country in the world.

What rights or freedoms do they have that we do not have here in the UK or in other countrys apart from the right to own a gun ?

These are probably stupid questions but I dont know the answer and I would like to know.

Thanks to anyone who answers.

How can elected officials ,business , and law enforcement totally ignore the law.You are not protected by the rights of our constitution and laws when you are breaking the law simple by being here!!!Why do these people (see above)get to chose which laws are to be enforced and which are deemed politically correct.People should be penalized for being here illegally not given free health care, food stamps . In my opinion we need to enact a law that says if you are in our U.S.A. illegally and give birth to a child the should not automatical become citizens.Drug dealers do not get to keep assests gained illgottenly.Do not come to my country flying your homeland flag telling me you demand rights. If you agree press 1 for english.(I want all to know that we are a country of immigrants and it is very insulting for someone who goes by the rules and regulations to get into this country legally to have these freeloaders straining the back of honest tax paying US Citizens.)

Even the republican think tanks are saying that bush and his possee lied and still people think he's the greatest thing to walk the earth. Are we actually at the point there is no hope for America anymore?

Or would that be too Republican of them.

BTW: I disagree with both parties on more things than I agree with them, and it's obvious we don't understand the Middle east at all, but we're there, we started this mess, and we have an ethical obligation to see it through.

I mean... clearly, Bush wouldn't have offered the job if he didn't think the guy was in his corner... and it turns out that even the people he thought was in his corner says stuff like:

One of those who spurned the job, retired Marine Gen. John J. "Jack" Sheehan, was outspoken about his reasons for turning it down.

"The very fundamental issue is, they don't know where the hell they're going," said Sheehan, a former top NATO commander. Sheehan said he believes that hawks like Vice President Cheney have more influence in the White House than those looking for a way out of Iraq. "So rather than go over there, develop an ulcer and eventually leave, I said, 'No, thanks.' "

I mean... this guy was a general, marine no less... I would think he knows what he's talking about...

I find this much more disturbing than just the daily banter back and forth by politicians who are POLITICIANS and seem to know little about war...
