Well, thats apart of what democracy tries to stand for. But no, there is no other way of fighting a war without engaging in battle. If the dispute were able to be settled peacefully, the situation wouldnt have resulted in war. Wars in history however, have been ended through mutual agreement, but the war had to be fought to reach that stage

Greed, prejudice, money, power, intolerance and revenge. These are all human traits that cannot be erased.

There is no way out other than war if one party feels they are better than the rest of the world.

The world needs to respect each others diversity, religion and way of life than impose what they feel is "best". But seriously, why would the government want to, when there is so much money involved?

People have been fighting for peace for centuries, but what many were actually after was control and silence (peace) from those who might oppose. If all we wanted was peace, "rest in peace" can achieve that. A piano, in total peace, is silent. What we really should be pursuing is harmony and the full expression of our free will but in a way that is in harmony with others. And, that what we do constructively reinforces rather than destroys or suppresses the goals, dreams and lives of others. It is to have an orchestra of music instead of explosions and dead silence.
A true paradigm shift is needed, and more words are needed than I can put here. Please check out this article: http://www.livelovelaugh.com/world/index.html

Well, for example, we could have used the fact that the 9/11 terrorists offended Muslims around the world by disgracing their religion to befriend Muslims as allies against the real terrorists out there, but instead we labeled them all as terrorists and now members of the fastest-growing religion on Earth are becoming polarized against us. Oh well.

That's a hard question to answer, due to many factors.

When the other side is suspecting you to fire back, but you do, but in such a way that it throws them off course, and they don't know how to react. (Kindness) and if that don't work, then you kill them with kindness, they will lose by making mistakes.

Ever hear of Ghandi? Jesus? M.L. King?

There was a saying in the sixties: "Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity."

A war requires two opposing forces. A war cant happen if one side refuses to participate.

The Gaza human beings suffered by fact the Hamas gang tried truly, truly difficult to get the Israelis to attack. whilst the Israelis attacked, the Hamas gang crawled into their rat holes, with their families, and left the Gaza electorate above floor to take the warmth. The Hamas rats knew that the Gaza human beings had nowheres to circulate! The Hamas gang has been promising to "wipe Israel off the map", yet anybody needs to overlook approximately that section. The Hamas rat gang started the conflict. They provoked it; they prayed for; they instigated it. Hamas develop into who the Israeli military develop into after, no longer the Gaza human beings. if that they have been after the Gaza human beings, then you definately ought to no longer count quantity the bodies! the biggest bunch of "human beings from different countries" who died have been approximately one hundred Iranians who died with their weapons. all people who died in a schoolhouse develop into placed there by Hamas. in simple terms by fact Hamas did no longer kill hundreds of Israeli toddlers would not recommend that they did no longer attempt. Hamas has promised to do in simple terms that! many times returned. Israel takes measures to guard its civilian inhabitants ... It would not placed them have been they are in a position to be killed, like Hamas did. i'm no longer from Isreal ... i'm no longer a cyber soldier ...
