I was there in 1991-2. I have extended family there. I'd love to go back.

Masterjack: No, she means Israel. There has never in the course of human history been a country called "Palestine." Ever.
tcd: I think it's time for you to stop reading Arab propaganda and learn some actual history.

Too bad they destroyed 500 or so Palestinian villages and committed so many massacres to get rid of the native population, those fun people!

Yes, I love it so so much.
I have been twise - both times I went on a Kibbutz...

The first time I went was for 10 months and then 6 months after that.
It is such a beautiful country - this isn't seen because of all the biased news reporting

There is no land called Israel in the world, that is occupied lands which will be soon returned to its people.

NO! Why would you want to live or visit a place that is a state for Jews rather than it's citizens? If you're not Jewish in Israel and the territories it illegally and brutally occupies, then you have no rights and are lucky to get the scraps that fall from the table.

Jewish terror groups stole land and property from Palestinian owners after slaughtering them and running them out in '47/48. Refugees weren't allowed to return as in other conflicts because were and still are trying to get and keep a Jewish majority. Some democracy!!

Israel is currently expanding and building settlements in violation of the Roadmap, the Geneva Convention, and various other agreements. They torture, arrest innocents, kill children at point blank range, fire into crowds, don't allow people to cross borders for medical treatment, have control over imports and borders such that they have caused an internationally recognized humanitarian crisis.

If I visited Israel, I'd spit and leave as quick as possible.

You know why some consider Israel beautiful? They have diverted all the water resources from the West Bank so that Israelis (in Israel and ilegal settlements) can water their yards and fill their swimming pools, never mind that they STOLE it and are leaving Palestinians without clean water.

I haven't been there, but I know several people from there and others who have been there. I already love Israel because of the fine folks I know from there, and I would love to go.
