The general trend of the introduction of the Euro has forced a real decline in the dollar's strength. If a real economic crisis occured and American dollars no longer bought goods like they used to and American economic (not POLITICAL) prestiege plummeted around the world, would you consider giving up the dollar to move to the Amero? The Amero is a proposed joint currency between Canada and Mexico and is similar in theory to the Euro. If it meant that you would be better off financially to no longer see G. Washington on one dollar bills, but have something different, would you do it?

I am interested in hearing serious opinions about America's dominant strength that exists in the world today? Should America stay at the top, or be pushed aside by entities such as China, India, Russia, and/or the EU? I'm not interested in people bashing America or denouncing the war in Iraq- I am interested in hearing if people, especially if Americans believe that the US should stay in control? If power does move towards Asia and overall power becomes more distributed, don't you think a worldwide struggle will ensue to see who'll be next top dog? And can a world with several powerful nations work together harmoniously anyway? What other nation should supercede the US if one does?

Al Gore seems to be positive that there is global warming and that humans are causing global warming by burning fossil fuels. But, some scientists believe global warming is being caused by the heat coming from the sun. They say the sun is getting hotter. However, most people are uncertain that global warming is actually happening. Should we start riding bicycles? Will that stop global warming?

In this democratic country, the government elected by the people for the people, if there is something that the political parties forget on reaching the power is the PEOPLE.... Are we to go with this situation for our entire life? Dont we have another option ? How can we save ourselves from these political monster's clinches ? Can't the youth of this country who take on the streets for all those silly reasons do something for this ? Cant the theme handled in the film YUVA be a real thing? Or will it remain as an utopia a government that really stands for the well being of the people ?

why did it fall through itself, instead of falling over? Even if the beams were soft they would still offer some resistance, wouldn't they. I just can't understand how all the support columns could melt at exactly the same time.

Iraq/Mideast?

He is the one who caused the vaccum by invading Iraq. He talks to the American people like they are fools who don't know that he opened pandora's box in Iraq & he is the main reason that the US is stuck in such an impossible situation & he's trying to fix his mess by dumping 21,000 more troops into the middle of HIS mess. Does he think that the entire US population is high when he gives his press conferences?

Why is canada and europe where it's mostly majority liberal gaining so much ground on the USA economically, socially, and technically? Of the industialized countries, the usa is the farthest behind in cell phone use and infrastructure, we are falling behind everyday in adoption of Broad band internet, and we one of only 3 nations out of 127 industrialized countries that do NOT have universal medical coverage. Don't you think it's time to wake up from the NEOCON slumber we have been in for the past 30 years and start trying to catch up?

Do you think that, after what they did, they could ever have imagined that the people, that they did so much for, would simply allow the sovereignty of this USA to be given away? Millions enter our country and our, so called, leaders refuse to take any meaningful action. Agreements are being made to form a EURO type union, without so much as a peep from our government or the people of this country. Thousands are being killed in Iraq, and that is distracting everyone from the thousands who are being killed by the illegal invaders. Many defend illegal immigration, claiming that they are tolerant, but how far does tolerance go? Many defend the President's lack of action. Does a President that does not use every power available to him, including the "Bully Pulpit", to protect his homeland, deserve your loyalty? I believe that if our Founding Fathers knew that we would ever become this passive, they would simply have said, FORGET IT!.
