That is because they are sensationalists, and not good reporters anymore! If they just report and stop all their opinions eh?
Who cares what they think? Just the facts man! And we don't need any coaching, we are sensible enough to decide for ourselves! If they want a slant they should by themselves a paper or radio talk show like Rush Limbaugh? But until then they should just do some real reporting as drab as it may be for them that is what we need!

I'm going to give a simple and straight forward answer:
Fox news is very conservative. CBS is very liberal. The others all move from one side to another depending. Yes, they're all (except Fox) pretty anti-Iraq war. But I think that's because the moderates of the country have started going against Iraq too.

Jon Stewart and Colbert (both of which I really like) have become some of the highest rated news programs (yes... comedy shows. Sad but true). Stewart and Colbert are both relatively liberal, but they keep it (to me) pretty well hidden most of the time (at least Stewart does... it's kind of Colbert's routine to mock conservatives, so he doesn't really have a choice). Although the president is an easy target, so it might not seem well hidden.

Here are the facts,as much as the Republicans like to spin it the other way.The MSM is controlled by corporations who are opposed to progressive politics.
Witness the frenzy of the Lewinsky scandal, the whole Swift Boat b.s.,the uncritical acceptance of Bush's lies about Iraq and the current uncritical acceptance of whatever the administration puts out in regards to Iran.

If you want the facts,go to Crooks and Liars or Media Matters. They are constantly exposing the propaganda the MSM churns out against the left, and have been much laid the lie about the liberal bias the wingnuts pulled out of their a88es in the eighties and have been jabbering about since.

As US Veteran points out, big-name conservatives own all the major news stations. In fact, the head of Fox News recently *admitted* to trying to slant the American public toward favoring our going to war in Iraq. The mainstream media doesn't have a liberal bias; it has a "let's make some money by keeping viewers" bias.

If the media had a more liberal bias, wouldn't they be focusing more on how Oliver North is stating that McCain and Lieberman lied and that most soldiers in Iraq are AGAINST the surge, instead of distracting us with godawful endless stories about Anna Nicole Smith and the crazy astronaut lady?

i visit offer an trouble-free and quickly forward answer: Fox information is very conservative. CBS is very liberal. The others all flow from one factor to a diverse based. confident, they are all (different than Fox) quite anti-Iraq war. yet i think of that's via fact the moderates of the country have began going against Iraq too. Jon Stewart and Colbert (the two one among which i truthfully like) are becoming to be a number of the utmost rated information classes (confident... comedy exhibits. unhappy yet actual). Stewart and Colbert are the two incredibly liberal, yet they save it (to me) quite lots hidden lots of the time (a minimum of Stewart does... it is form of Colbert's habitual to mock conservatives, so he does not incredibly have a call). even with the actuality that the president is an trouble-free objective, so it may no longer look properly hidden.

Its swinging the other way with Fox news and ABC radio being very extremely republican, but not ABC TV. Media tends to be liberal to gain viewership. They want to be populist, or for the people. They want to seem to be for the poor and under represented.

The majority of the media is owned and ordered around by liberal bosses. They are told what and what not to publicize. And no, they are neither fair nor balanced in any way. They are stuffed with anti-Americanism and socialist/communist agenda.

Maybe because the media is reporting the true feelings of the American public, and the fact that most sane Americans are sick and tired of incompetence, bumbling idiots, crooks, & profitteers whose only claim to fame is to destroy Iraq, and to leave the scraps for the buzzards.

It's not the liberal media and it's not the conservative media, it's the money media and don't ever forget it or they win.
