I'd defelonize pot and hashish. I use no illegal drugs, but in my opinion, weed and hash are certainly far less toxic on society as a whole than alcohol.
I've never seen a mean pothead, but I've seen many a drunk beat the hell out of his wife and kids.

You have got to have a lot of marijuana to be charged with a felony. I mean a lot more than just personal usage amounts. That said, all drugs should be decriminalized. A person's body is their own, just ask anyone who supports abortion. The penalties for laws broken while intoxicated would need to be more strict, however. If you screw up while high, you need to pay. If people stay at home and do whatever they want, as long as they do not harm anyone or keep them from doing what they want, so be it.

I think that we should legalize everything and drop the drinking age as well.
If you look at other societies with laws like these they don't have nearly the social problems with drugs/alcohol as we do in the US.

They did outlaw booze at one time and people were making their own and going blind because the ingredients were wrong.
