As America focuses on a 4-year war, China is becoming a significant superpower in the world economy. This is in part due to expanded trade initiatives with impoverished African nations. The beauty of the arrangement is that China benefits by receiving goods at lower costs, while boosting the economy of particular developing nations they trade with. As these relationships grow, so too does Chinas economy. In return, the said African countries become more self sufficient and less dependent on foreign aid. In addition, countries with higher economic standing become less likely to partake in corruption and government breakdown that offers terrorist ideal conditions to exist and train. This quite literally becomes a win-win scenario. Is it time for the US to re-examine its trade policies to encompass new and stronger relations with African countries that can offer our country the same symbiotic relationships? Would you support such a measure and why?

Personally, I believe the rights of Society should always far outweigh an individual's rights.

Too many individual rights, unfortunately, can harm society as a whole. Limiting how much one can earn, the types of property one may own, and things one may publicly say will help ensure that EVERYone is on a fairly-equal playing field.

It may sound totalitarian, but I do believe it's the only way to form a healthy society for everyone.

Hey, Bush has proven himself to be the sort of person who does not care what the people of this country want. We voted him DOWN when we voted his party OUT of power on November 7, but did that mean anything to him? NO.

This man has GOT to be removed from power. PLEASE send your Congressmen and Senators a letter, call them, do SOMETHING. BUSH IS OUT OF HIS MIND AND CLEARLY OUT OF CONTROL.

Comments are solicited as I am building my own letter and your input is welcome.

I am sure that if America and their alliance try to start their aggression attack against Iran the world will be two parts one is the Islam the other one will be Christians and Israel on one side, so according to the religious clash between Islam and Christian we will see who will be the leader of this world after the Iran attack and also the future of Israel

Most people thnik of the war on terror like the only terrorist come from the middle east but never stop to think what the CIA might be doing there secretly. Well if you think that the US never has used terrorism or is not using it you are flat wrong.

I have always had my objections with the Bush Administration use of the "War on Terror" because it's so vague!

Does it due justice for a country to vow a war on such a word?

Do you believe we will one day become that, which we fear and hunt?

Should we continue to use this term in our continuing crusade against those who attacked us on 9/11?

What if, with each new term, we alternated between Democrat and Republican? There would still be a voting process to determine which candidate wins office, but it would not be between the two parties. What would be the ramifications?
