What kind of BS is this, comrades! Quebec is a nation? Why? Here are the reasons given to us by Harper, Liberals, NDP and Bloc bone heads...
-It is a distinct society- in terms of a unique language, arts, social and religious practices... But isn't most of Canada the same? How about reserves- arn't the people living on them their own nation- with unquie languauges and practices? Or how about Newfounland? I know I know, you Quebec separatists have told me before that they speak english in Newfoundland and that they are the same as the rest of Canada- which begs me to ask- HAVE YA EVER BEEN THERE? They certainly don't speak English by my standards, and believe me, they do have their own special practcies (like kissing the cod!)... It is sad for me to say, but I don't think Quebec is a distinct society, rather an extinct society...
... more to come....

Regardless of affiliation, political parties are more distractions which enable the USG and PTB to further divide the majority working class, to keep us from seeing that electing elite wealthy pseudo-representatives IS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS...NOT THE SOLUTION!!

I'd appreciate more views from US citizens to my original question. Especially from the Christian & neo conservative right that seem to frequent these pages so often.

do any of you guys know of any scientists or sites showing any evidence global warming is not caused by human activity. I am convinced it is, but I'm having difficulty with people citing "evidence" that it is completely natural or that somehow the earth will overcome this problem on its own. You can rant on either side of this if you want, but I am looking for real evidence.

General Con. ideals dictate that the gov't should be less involved in our affairs not more, and Cons always accuse Libs of being too pro-gov't, so how is it that you support sanctions and laws against gays marrying and women having abortions?
Aren't these moral issues and not political ones?
Isn't this contradictory to Conservative Ideals? Why or why not?

Pointing out the personal flaws and social faux pas of individuals associated with a political party to diss the policies and political views of the Party itself?
Think of it this way, if you put 80 flies in a jar of honey and one moves toward the lid, does that mean they're all thinking of escape? For the time being I've grown weary of pointing out how incredibly inane and moronic it is to take personal low-blows and insults and try to turn them into social or political commentary. So I've decided to ask a somewhat intelligent question, that is as non-offensive as I can possibly make it w/o dumbing it down or seeming condescending.
