Did it ever occur to you people that the people call us the Great Satan for a reason, because they view everything about our way of life as evil and contrary to the teachings of our faith?? Did it ever occur to you people that if Israel didnt exist they'd still call us the great Satan? Did it ever occur to you people that muslim extremists are the ones killing people since 1970 and continue to do so?

This person's talking about EVERYONE being in war.... not just America. Terrorists, normal Muslims, Americans, Christians, Chinese, Koreans, etc... need to calm the heck down!

Do people know that we were in Vietnam to stop Communism from spreading to the rest of the world? It was the thought at the time that if we didn't stop Communism there, soon the whole world would be at risk! We left, all of Vietnam "fell" to Communism and today the president is setting up a trade agreement with the still Communist nation. So that "if we don't stop 'em there" talk doesn't ring as true with those of us who remember. History is soon forgotten.

I think the point of the war was to liberate an oppressed people. We lost our funding and our backing and our support half way through, so things were never able to be finished, and instead they simply grew out of control.
Death is part of life. So is war.
Its worse to live your life with no cause, or nothing, or no one, you'd give your life to preserve.
