Ya know, George is not the greatest public speaker, but the one thing you do know is, those are his words coming out of his mouth.

I watched the guy the democrats love to compare with GWB, and I don't ever recall words coming out of his mouth, that weren't scripted by a speech writer. I don't ever recall an impromptu question and answer between Clinton and the press. Because of this, Clinton was given credit for being an effective speaker, but for people who saw through this technique, they knew they were listening to Clinton's voice but someone else's words.

He's not leaving office like a Lion. Bill Clinton sure had a tour of speechmaking ahead of him. I bet George W will leave the limelight before his father does. I still see old Georgie sitting with Clinton on appeals to the American people. Man, I miss those guys!

He will be paid what the rest of them command. This president will actually have more to talk about since he actually did something. Makes the talk more interesting when you are sharing life experiences vs scripted or made up tales.

Normal presidential fee is 100k+, he will make that for about 1 hour's effort. Guess that Yale degree paid off for him.
