I'm a conservative myself, but it bewilders me whenever I see some country-fried lunkhead complaining about government regulation on gun ownership, when it's been proven that gun control decreases gun-related crime. I mean, assault weapons? These people think we should be able to own ASSAULT WEAPONS?! I just don't get it. Can someone explain?

The way I see it, sex education is something very important - between a parent and their child. So please don't act like I'm one of those right-wing religious freaks that thinks kids shouldn't know anything about sex - that couldn't be further from what I believe. I just think, that sexual education doesn't belong in school. Guess what? I don't think physical education belongs in school, either. In my opinion, school should be about math, reading, science, writing, and history - not footballs and condoms. Sex should be taught as the parent sees fit, and if they're too inept to teach their children properly, that is one of the downsides to living in a democracy. What do you think?

I just called Pizza Hut for a delivery, called the local number I call about every two weeks, I am not in Alabama...I live 3 miles from my " in the country Pizza Hut." Guess What I got an answer from a Pizza Hut Service in ALABAMA with a woman with an accent that was not from anywhere in the States. Has anyone else ever had this happen. I have been dialing this number for ten years and never had this happen. Gotta love outsourcing. I think I just ordered my pizza from someone in Bangladesh. A new one for me...Know you think this ought to be under dining...BUT I THINK IT OUGHT TO BE UNDER POLITICS. So the question is HAS THIS HAPPENED TO YOU I mean in calling what you think is in your area and gotten someone WHO HAS NO IDEA where you are calling from?

According to the President he was supporting terrorism.
Which group/groups?
It certainly wasn't al-Qaeda as they were enemies of Saddam and I haven't heard any other groups named.
So how was he a threat?

Would it not stop all the political mud-slinging if the Democrats and Republicans joined together to form a single party ?

It would also be less confusing for voters like myself.

It is easy to understand poor liberals. They are simply looking for a handout.

It is easy to understand rich liberals. They have enough money to afford whimsical social policies.

But middle class liberals don't make sense. They have only enough money to support their families properly, but not enough to waste on the lazy. Why do it?
