I need the book source; the title, author, copyright date, publisher and the page the fact was found on. And the fact of course. I looked everywhere for a book myself, but the only books I could find were the Lives of Benjamin Franklin and George Washington. I couldn't find anything in them. Please Help. Thank you.

I have looked, I have read many books, but i cant get to a library right now to continue my research. I need 2 additional books with all the above information to add to my report.

The Cousins Wars, by Kevin Phillips.
Covers the English Civil War, the Stuarts, the Glorious Revolution
and on into the Revolutionary, War of 1812 American Civil War.
Part of the reason why we HAD a separation between church and state has to do with the aversion many of the English colonists had with any kind of state sponsored religion and especially so if it is paired with a monarchy - in in particular a European monarchy.

Read anything published by anyone that signed the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence. If you have any trouble finding them you haven't even done a Google search, let alone looked everywhere.
