Who says our system of law and beliefs are based only on the Bible...last I checked, most religous scripture and generally moral people believe that murder, theft, roberry and adultery are wrong...it's not like the Christians came up with this idea.

It is not like we are being charged for worshiping false idols or anything...when that starts to happen, ask this question again and I will agree with you.

The moral aspects of American law are mostly based on the Bible. The non-moral aspects were based on Locke's theories, German tradition, and reactions against the British government.

Why is this dangerous?

Most religious books are dangerous, simply because they are written to protect the interests of religious leaders, who lead a good life at the expense of their brainwashed flocks.
